It wasn't long before Marlene and Tonks' babies where born as well. Soon enough the marauders had Harry James Potter, Edward John Lupin and Sirius Orion Black the fourth. Edward was usually called Teddy and Sirius the fourth used his middle name, Orion.
The Potters
It was a warm sunny day in Godrics Hollow, when Sirius came bounding through the door.
"HONEY, IM HOME" he shouted opening the kitchen door. Harry clapped and squealed in delight while Lily rolled her eyes. Seeing Harrys reaction Sirius transformed into Padfoot and trotted over to Harry.
"Sirius, James be careful with Harry, please," Lily said watching the three boys, "im going to get some dinner things for tonight. I'll be back in about an hour. Sirius if you want you can ask Marl and Tonks over as well,"
She walked out as Sirius transformed back. Picking Harry up he smirked at James before running to the lounge,
"PADFOOT NO" James screeched running after them.
"PADFOOT YES" Sirius shouted back laughing. James ran into the lounge to see a delighted Harry on the back of a black dog. He laughed,
"Lily will be raging if she finds out"
Sirius changed back and picked Harry up, " only if she finds out" he said smirking evilly. Sirius, James and Harry played piggy back rides on the stag and dog before James heard Lily apperate outside.
"Sirius quick Lily's home!" He practically screeched at him. Sirius laughed at how scared James was from an angry Lily and transformed back, picking Harry up and twirling him around.
"SIRIUS ORION BLACK THE FOURTH AND JAMES CHARLEUS POTTER MY BABY BETTER BE ALIVE AND UNHURT OR YOU WILL REGR-"
"Mummy!" Harry squealed happily. Lily stopped shouting and James and Sirius turned to him.
"NOOOO" James wailed dramatically, "I WILL NEVER LIVE THIS DOWN. MY SONS FIRST WORD WAS MUMMY! " he said pretending to faint on to the sofa. "WHY, OH MERLIN WHAT HAVE I DONE TO DESERVE THIS? WH-"
"James stop" Lily said interrupting her husband, "BUT HA HA YOU OWE ME 20 GALLEONS I WON I WON WOO HOO" she shouted just as loud as James was.
Sirius laughed at the couple. James was still pretending to have fainted while Lily was doing a 'happy dance'. He loved the Potters, he really did.
"Orion's not said his first word yet, but i assure you it will be dad." He said pointing at James. Little Harry was finding this highly entertaining, jumping up and down clapping his hands.
"Mummy, mummy, mummy, mummy," he chanted much to Sirius and Lily's amusement. James grumbled something and handed Lily 20 Galleons while walking to the kitchen.
"Daddy?" Harry said tilting his head to the side.
"I don't know whats worse; the fact that he said daddy so close to mummy or that he has adopted your dog ways of tilting his head when he's confused!" Lily said looking at Sirius in a mix of disgust and amusement.
"Or... Or... The fact t-that Ja-James... Wasn't...there to... To hear... It!" Sirius said through fits of laughter.
James jumped back into the room looking worried, "whats wrong?!" He then saw Sirius and Lily in fits of laughter and his worry subsided, " whats so funny?" He asked.
Harry looked up and saw his dad standing in the doorway, "DADDY" he shouted clapping his hands when Lily and Sirius laughed harder. James was so proud of his son "he said it, HE SAID IT WOOO" he screamed. Now it was James doing a happy dance around the room. They all collapsed onto the sofas in fits of laughter.
The Blacks
Sirius woke up to the sound of a baby crying at 12 Grimmauld, London, far to early for his liking. He groaned and turned over wishing the baby to be quiet.
"Siri, its your turn i got up last time" came a muffled voice beside him. He groaned again,
"Pretty please Marls, pretty please" he said to his wife with his best puppy eyes.
"Sirius you know they don't work on me anymore" She replied rolling her own eyes while getting up.
Sirius smirked, "actually they do work - you got up" he snickered at her expression, rolled over and fell back asleep. He was never a morning person.
Marlene got up and walked through to her sons room. It was bright blue, his favourite colour Sirius said. How he knew that she would never know but...She picked up her baby in her arms. He was just like his dad, long thick black hair and grey eyes. The boy whimpered slightly but after hearing his mother singing he started to fall back asleep again.
"I've always loved your singing" a voice said from the doorway. She jumped, "Sirius don't scare me like that or you'll wake the baby" she scolded him. He wrapped his arms around her waist, resting his head on her shoulder, looking at his son. "Am i not aloud to tell my gorgeous wife that she has the voice of an angel?" He said smiling at her. She shoved him playfully, "not if you start to sound like James in seventh year."
Sirius laughed. His best friend James or, as the marauders called him, Prongs, was absolutely in love with Lily Evans. Every day since second year he asked her out convinced that somewhere, deep down that she loved him. She had always hated him and nobody thought that they would ever go out, let alone get married, so it came as a big shock to everyone when they walked into the Great Hall for dinner holding hands. He chuckled at the memory.
"Im going to see the Potters" he said kissing his son and wife, "i bet Lily will want to get dinner stuff and not trust Harry with James by himself"
"And you being there will make her trust him?" She said laughing
"Im very hurt you know Mrs Black. Im going to leave before you say something that hurts me even more". He replied wiping a pretend tear from his eye and aperating away.
The Lupins
Remus Lupin woke early that day like he did every morning. He got up made himself a hot chocolate and his wife a coffee, charming it to stay warm. He was flicking through the Daily Prophet when his wife came through. Her hair was a bubblegum pink and their sons bright blue. He laughed to himself- his house will always be a colourful one with these two around. Tonks sat down opposite him after putting Teddy in his chair and grabbed her coffee gratefully.
"I don't know how you can drink that disgusting stuff this early in the morning" he said to his wife scrunching his nose up. She rolled her eyes, "you would too if you weren't so addicted to chocolate"
It was true, Remus Lupin loved chocolate. His favourite being chocolate frogs. He looked up wen the potters owl came through the window. Frowning he picked up the letter, why would James and Lily send him a howler? Opening it he heard Sirius' voice shouting, "Moony you will never guess what! Harry said his first words today! He shouted mummy and James got really annoyed a-"
"I DID NOT" James voice was heard in the background". Remus could practically hear Lily rolling her eyes at the two of them.
"Anyway, before i got rudely interrupted, James went off in a huff and Harry shouted DADDY when he left. It was the funniest thing Moony you should've been there!"
Remus laughed, these kids where going to have the best life ever.
