No Voldemort - Marauders Survive

Chapter 8

"Teeddy..." Harry said strolling into the library in Potter Manor with Orion right behind him.
"Yes Harry" Teddy replied not looking up from his book.
"You know how Dad, Uncle Padfoot and Uncle Moony made the Marauders Map?" Harry said sitting down opposite him. Orion sat next to him and both looked equally as nervous and excited. "What if we make one for Potter Manor" Orion started,
"And then if thats a success we can make one for the Black and Lupin house too?" Harry finished.  Teddy sighed for the second time that day, "fine as long as Aunt Lily doesn't find out cause shes scary when shes angry." He said and shuddered.   It was true, Lily Potter was absolutely terrifying when she angry and the three boys, or the second generation of Marauders as they liked to call themselves, knew only too well of her anger.  They loved pranks just as much as their fathers and were willing to pay the consequences of Lily's anger to do that.
"Please Ted come o- wait WHAT?" Orion began,
"I said sure as long as Aunt Lily doesn't find out" Teddy said trying to conceal his smirk. The look on Harry and Orion's faces were hilarious.
"My, my. Looks like our Teddy," Harry began
"Has finally come to his senses" Orion finished like twins.
Teddy rolled his eyes again. What was that now? Three? Four times already? It was only 10am.  He was surprised that Harry and Orion were up this early but then again they wanted to make the map.
"Well then whats the plan?" Teddy asked although he already knew the answer.
"...well"
"We don't really.."
"Have a plan" they replied sheepishly.  Teddy laughed, "you never do, I'm the brains of the group"
"Well I'm the prank idea comer-upper" Harry said seriously.  Teddy and Orion burst out laughing.
"What? Whats so funny?" Harry asked throwing is hands in the air.
"Prank idea comer-upper!" Teddy said through laughter.
Harry grumbled something  inaudible and walked out the library with Teddy and Orion right behind him.

"Right we start on the first floor and work our way up, then we do secret passageways we know. We then look for more and finally ask The original Marauders for the potion and if they know any more passages." Teddy ordered the boys.
"SIR, YES, SIR!" Harry and Orion shouted, mock saluting.
"Right soldiers, lets get to work," Teddy grinned evilly, " and don't forget," he said, "if someone comes along ill use my metamophorgus to distract them,"
"SIR,YES,SIR" Harry and Orion shouted again.

"Right third floor" Orion said as they finished marking the last corridor for the second floor on the map. It was almost three and they had got the first and second floors done.  Soon enough the SGM (Second Generation Marauders) had a map of Potter Manor and all the secret passages they knew.  They walked into the lounge with identical mischievous smirks on their faces, "hey dad" Teddy said sitting beside his father who was reading The Daily Prophet, "what is it you want Teddy?" He asked without looking up from the paper.  He had seen that smirk on James and Sirius many times before and knew exactly what it meant.
Teddy was shocked for a moment but composed himself quickly, "well you know how you and Uncle Prongs and Uncle Padfoot made the Marauders Map when you where at Hogwarts," he said hardly taking a breath and bouncing on his chair in excitement, " Well me, Harry and Orion-"
"Harry, Orion and I. Teddy." Remus interrupted.
"Yes yes, well Harry, Orion and I have made one for Potter Manor and were wondering if you could help us with the potion?" He asked somewhat nervously.
James and Sirius where amazed but Remus simply looked amused.
"How-"
"Amazing,"
"We have brought them up well" James and Sirius said, the look of shock still clearly on their faces.  Orion grinned, "come on dad, we are much better than yous are already, and we haven't even started Hogwarts!"
James and Sirius both took extremely over exaggerated gasps of breath,
"No"
"We where amazing-"
"Absolutely brilliant"
The boys grinned at their fathers,
"Ah, but you forgetting one thing," Harry said smirking, "you never knew the other's existed and we're best friends,"
"Also we already have the journals our mums gave us for christmas nearly full with prank ideas and reviews where as you never even knew how to prank properly!" Teddy nearly shouted as Harry and Orion cheered.
"One things for sure," Remus said proudly, "Macgonagals going to have a harder time with you lot the she ever did with us."

The SGM and the OM (Original Marauders, or as the SGM liked to call them, The Old Marauders,) soon had the map ready and in use.  The OM had made a second Marauders Map for the kids to take to Hogwarts.
"We'll be able to watch you kids in Hogwarts if we have one too," Remus stated after getting quizzed at why they should make a second.
"No point," James said grinning idiotically, "they'll be in Magonagals office most of the time,"
"Hey" all three younger marauders replied. James, Remus and Sirius looked at each other and then back at the kids.
"Why wont you be in Macgonagals office half the time?" Remus asked, "James and Sirius used to have a competition to see how many detentions they could get."
"Aah my dear father, thats where your wrong," Teddy said in a mysterious voice, "the biggest difference between us and you three is that we wont be getting caught." And with that the three grabbed the new map and walked out leaving three very bewildered fathers inside.
