Brock's offer was a blessing in disguise. I couldn't believe how much my stress level decreased when I was around him. Working for him seemed so much easier than working for Dana. Brock never once treated me like a fragile object. He never filtered his words, or his thought processes. He treated me like a normal human being, which is something Dana hadn't done for quite some time.

And speaking of Dana, he had his new secretary drop off my things the next day. He replaced me within hours of our fallout and just like that, thirty years of friendship were thrown out the window. I was hurt by his actions and even more so when he ignored my calls and texts.

Our complete radio silence went on like this for several days, until he got word that I was still involved in Brock's training. He sent the human resource manager, the guy who hires and fires you, to the gym to remind me that my presence was no longer needed, as my employment had been terminated. I really wasn't shocked, Dana always had others do his dirty work for him, and usually that person was me.

I had warned Brock that this would occur at some point and he was ready. His lawyer accompanied us to the gym for the first week after the fallout. By the third day, Dana's guinea pig showed up, and Brock's lawyer took over. He handed him copies of my contract information, as well as Brock's. Dana signed Brock's contract, and that contract entailed that Brock could hire anyone he deemed fit for his training team. So, in other words, Dana's hands were tied and I'm sure it was driving him crazy...

As for Brock and I, we were working together as a team. We were in the gym six days a week for eight to ten hours a day. Rodrigo and I had prepared Brock the best way we knew how and I was very confident that he could take Cain down. There was no way he could lose this fight, he had a height and weight advantage, he had more agility than Cain, and he knows all of Cain's weaknesses. This would be over in the first round and I could finally move on with my life...

"Here we go." I turned to face Brock at the curtain on side stage. He was geared up and ready for the official weigh in. Cain had weighed in at 240 pounds and was waiting opposite the stage for promo pictures.

As Brock walked out, the crowd was chanting and screaming his name. It was obvious that he was the fan favorite and you could tell Cain was not happy. "And his opponent, former UFC Heavyweight Champion of the world, Brock Lesnar!" Brock shrugged off his jacket and stepped up on the scale as Dana announced his weight. "Exactly two-hundred-sixty-five pounds!"

Without another word, Brock stepped off and stood toe-to-toe with Cain

Without another word, Brock stepped off and stood toe-to-toe with Cain. He smirked as photographers went wild to capture the promos. I saw him whisper something to Cain before exiting the stage.

"Did you really just try to psych him out?" I ask as I hand him another jacket. He slips it on and nudges me toward the locker room. "Well?"
