The next day I woke up in a dungeon with Alexis we were trapped behind steel bars and I could already tell that we'd been taken.
A soldier slowly walked through the corridor looking through the cells, people from both sides of the war were kidnapped. At least it wasn't just one of us getting taken out.
We had to get out of here or we would be trapped for a very long time in this dungeon, I wonder how they are going to treat us here, will they even feed us?
Alexis grabs my shoulder bringing me out of my separate world of thought.
"Yeah Alexis?"
"Sire we've been captured"
"yeah I know"
It was 0900 hours when a guard yelled out, "time to eat you maggots!" Slowly cell by cell the guards passed out food to us down the corridor, now was my chance to question a guard.
The guard reached our cell and he looked like a typical emo goth boy with long hair, but you could tell by his stature that he was tough.
I tried to get the guards attention "Hey guard! I've got a question" I called out to him.
The guard came to our cell and answered me "yes maggot what is it?"
I was surprised he had answered me, but I took the opportunity "sir what all do we do in a day here?" I asked the guard and the guard grinned evilly at me.
The guard spoke with a loud frightening tone towards me now.
"Maggot do not be a kiss up, your life here is going to be hell here maggot. Your going to work your ass off for us and do as your told, if you don't you will be punished for your insolence"
I went to respond to the guard when Alexis decided to speak.
"Do u know who your talking to? This is the vampire king, he is lord and royalty. Respect his level above you, you maggot" she smirked at her own words. Finding it funny how she stood up to the guard, the guard didn't feel the same.
The guard quickly called out to his buddies, one retrieving the keys to unlock the cells.
They unlocked the cell and the emo looking guard entered the cell quickly, moving to in front of Alexis.
He addressed her face to face "Am I going have to put you and your vampire King both in the right place, I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty. how about you?"
He smirked when Alexis slowly backed away from him. I would've interfered but it wouldn't have helped his buddies would've rushed in and kicked our asses in an instant, no point in getting harmed.
We sat down in our cell awaiting a chance to escape this place. I wonder when that chance will come.
