"You hadn't told me your boyfriend would be here" Maggie's eyes were scanning Grayson
"Um he's-"
"You can go on your date i'll stay here waiting for Chris" she cut me off and i looked at Grayson waiting for him to speak but he decided to play it shy instead. Ohh boy.
"Grayson was leaving now and we're actually not a couple" Grayson nodded in agreement with a newly found confidence.
"If you say so" Maggie smiles a smirkish smile and i signalled Grayson to slowly leave, which he did.
"nothing's going on" i said as soon as Grayson closed the door behind him.
"It's fine if it did, but who is he then?"
"He's my best friend Grayson, Ethan's twin..do you remember them? We used to hang out all the time" her mouth went agape
"No way! This guy was super hot...Does Ethan look like this too? Puberty surely hit them like a truck " No of course not. They look completely different, in every single way.
Ethan's lips are bigger, he smells nicer, his eyes are greener, his hair is...ohh she must've meant if he's equally hot..
"Yeah maybe even better" way to go Alex! I'm gonna be such a great actress, i'm sure about it.
"So is Chris coming? You guys can use my bedroom if mum's room is too small" if that happened the sofa would be left for me and then i could say that my back hurts when i sleep there which means more sleepovers for me.
"Chris is coming in an hour or so and he's bringing Charlie with him. As for the room we'll be fine" who tf is Charlie?
"Who is Charlie?"
"Charlie is Chris's..well our dog..it's a chihuahua" she smiled at the "our" part. Aww.
"Does mum know about the dog? She's gonna lose it" i laughed at the thought of her expression
"Your mum won't know" she winked at me "we can keep secrets from her right?" Hell yeah we can.
"Everything for my aunt" i smiled at her
"Don't call me aunt i feel like a grandma" she frowned "call me Maggie it makes me feel less..well less my age" we laughed together
"Okay then Maggie"
It felt good not to have mum around all the time for a few days, just taking a break from overreacting and all the drama. Plus, something's telling me i'm gonna have a good time with Maggie.
A couple of hours later, Chris came home holding the most precious little bundle of joy -Charlie- in his hands, and we stayed up talking untill we finally gave in and headed upstairs to get some sleep. I didn't really feel like sleeping but occupying my mind with something other than how i feeled about tomorrow sounded good.
*next day, 8 p.m at the dolan's*
*Ethan's POV*
"I don't need help" i told her holding the shirt in my hand
"Shut up i'm the one who caused this" she stared at my broken finger "at least let me help"
She tugged at the hem of my sweatshirt and started pulling it off slowly, her cold fingers resting on my warm skin for a couple of heavenly seconds, before making their way up to my neck sending shivers down my spine.
