Day 9 – I'm still thinking
So, I was browsing the app store and found these free apps. I love free stuff.
One is for a trust seal and the other is a free ad exchange.
For the trust app, it puts these icons on your site. Basically, it's meant to reassure your customers that you're a legit online store, powered by shopify, you have refund policy in place, your business location, those kind of things. They also have this feature that asks your customers to leave reviews on your site. Product reviews are a good way of knowing whether your service is satisfying.
The other app, among its users, they allow a section of ad exchange in their site. I have chosen five products, and they would appear in any website of the others who installed the app. And I also get that section in my website showing products from other stores. You just input your industry to make sure you only exchange relevant products. I mean, you're a gadget seller, the ads that would appear in your site would also be about gadgets. So yeah, a really good way of generating traffic. Somewhat. I still have to see the good results.
It was kinda awesome.
