"Hi my name is Johnnie Guilbert. I'm 18. Umm I'm here because I lost my father when I was 10 years old and I've been depressed and suicidal ever since then." I introduce myself the the rest of the group. I hate this. A fucking support group. I don't need to share my feelings with a bunch of strangers and an old dude who says he knows what he's doing but is probably just here to get into other people's business. Then there's girls here that are literally falling out of their clothes and it's disgusting. They have no personal respect. Uggh! I just want to go home.
"Welcome, Johnnie. Thank you for sharing," the oldie says.
"Yeah whatever," I say, as I put my earbuds in to listen to music. I don't really pay attention to anything else until about halfway through this girl walks in and hugs the old guy. Eww. Probably one of his underaged girlfriends. I pull my earbud out just in time to hear her talk.
"Sorry I'm late, dad. Traffic is terrible," she says. Oh so that's his daughter. Whoops. Anyway back to mystery girl. I look up to see her looking at me. I smile and wave at her. She smiles back and waves. I smile for the rest of the group thingy. When it gets over I run up to her.
"Hey uhh m-my names J-Johnnie." I stutter. Man i really wish i could talk to girls. I growl. Oops I hope she didn't hear that. She smiles at me.
"Hi my names Alexandra but everyone but my dad calls me Alex." She says giggling.
"Oh nice so oldie is your dad huh?" I ask. Dang I shouldn't have called him that.
"Yeah sadly he is." She says giggling again.
"So do you want to hang out sometime?" I ask her.
"Sure. Umm do you have a phone?" She asks. I grab my phone out.
"Yeah why?" I ask kind of stupidly.
"So I can give you my number silly," she giggles. I love her giggle. She moves her sunglasses down just a little so she can see the screen but not enough that the sun gets into her eyes.
"Ok umm I gave you my number then I texted myself so I can save your number in my phone," she says.
"Ok umm see ya later then?" I ask.
"Yeah sure," I smile as we say our goodbyes and head to our cars. I drive home smiling the whole way.
"Johnnie is that you?" my mom calls through the house.
"Yeah mom I'll be in my room. Text me if you need me," I yell back at her.
"Ok," she yells back as I close my bedroom door. I lay on my bed and look at my phone to see that Alex is calling me.
"Hey Johnnie."
"Hey Alex. What's up?"
"Eh not much um but I'm going to a party this Saturday and I was wondering if u wanted to come with me?"
"Ok sure where is it at?"
"It's at some dudes house at my school."
"What school do you go to?"
"Ridgewood high."
"Oh really so do I."
"Oh wow that's cool yeah it's Bryan's party."
"Oh yeah he told me about that."
"Wait you know Bryan?"
"Yeah we're like best friends why?"
"No reason I was just a little surprised."
"Oh ok then yeah I'll go with you."
"Sweet thanks."
"No problem see you Saturday. Pick you up at 7:00?"
"Umm yeah sure."
"K bye."
"Bye."
I smile as I lock out my phone and listen to 'Immaculate Misconception' by Motionless In White. I start singing along then growl lowly as my phone beeps signaling a text message from my mom. I walk downstairs with my earbuds still in my ears. I take one earbud out.
"Yeah mother?" I say as I walk into the kitchen.
"Dinner," she says as I sit down at the table after helping her bring everything to the table.
"So how was your group today?" she asks me.
"Good. I met a girl," I say blushing slightly.
"Ooh what's her name?" she asks smiling.
"Alex," I say blushing even harder.
"Awe that's a pretty name," she says eating her taco.
"Yeah she asked me if I wanted to go with her to Bryan's party Saturday," I take a bite of my taco as I scroll through Instagram.
"I thought you weren't going to go to Bryan's party," she looks at me seriously.
"I wasn't but I'm going to go with Alex. I'm going to pick her up at 7:00 on Saturday," I say smiling thinking back to our conversation earlier.
"Ooh does my little Johnnie have a crush?" she jokes.
"Maybe. I don't know though," I say honestly. I finish my food and help mom clear the table and put the food away and then go back up to my room.(A/N: omg this suxx lol but tell me what you thought)
