Tali's Request

Chapter 3

Tony received a letter in the mail addressed to him, but with no return address. Curious, Tony sat on his couch, and opened the letter.

His heart fluttered when he recognized Ziva's hand writing. He began to read.

Tony took out the next page of the letter, and his eyes landed on the two ultrasound pictures. His mouth dropped open in surprise. Heart racing, he read what Ziva had wrote.

"I was already pregnant with your child when we said our goodbyes on the tarmac. It was only weeks later when I had this ultrasound taken. I was overjoyed that you have given me a little girl."

"Oh my God". Tony muttered out loud. He ran his hands through his hair, and over his face. He then turned to the next page of the letter, and gazed at the photo of Ziva's radiant smile, and Tali's twinkle in her eye.

"I have told Tali about you. Although she has never met you, she loves you with all her heart. She makes me tell stories about you, and won't stop staring at your picture. She has a picture of you on her nightstand, and kisses it goodnight every night.

She wants to meet you, Tony. She wants to meet her Abba. Please, please, please let her. It would mean so much to her. I know you are probably furious with me, but please don't be mad at our daughter. She thinks the world of you."

A tear rolled down Tony's cheek as held the picture of Tali drew in his hands. He had a child. A daughter. With Ziva.

Rushing over to his laptop, he typed in Ziva's number on skype and waited impatiently for Ziva to pick up.

Sorry this chapter is so short. To make up for it, I'll probably upload another chapter later on in the day.
