It was Tali's bedtime, and Tali was already fast asleep. Her afternoon with Grandpa Gibbs, Aunt Abby, and Uncle McGee tired her out.
Ziva picked up her daugher from the couch in her arms, and hummed her a lullaby. It was the same lullaby she sang Tony their first night together.
"Ima?" Tali asked sleepily, looking at her mother through half-open eyes.
"Shh, sleep Tali". Ziva cooed, and began to sang the lullaby as she walked to Tali's room.

Ziva finished the lullaby, and carefully placed a sleeping Tali in her toddler bed. She turned around, and saw that Tony was watching her from the doorframe.
"Was that the song you sang to me?" Tony asked her, pulling her into an embrace when she walked up to him.
"Yes". Ziva answered. "It's 'Once upon a December', from the movie 'Anastasia' ".
Tony kissed her again. "Ready to go to bed?" He asked quietly, not wanting to wake Tali up.
Ziva kissed him back, and held his hand. Interwinding their fingers together as they made their way to the bedroom.
They were together at last.
