Tali's Request

Chapter 11

Around noon, Tony and Ziva were dropping Tali off at Grandpa Gibbs' house. Aunt Abby was also going to be there as well as Uncle McGee.

As Tony parked the car across the street from Gibbs' house, Tali was singing with excitement.

"Grandpa Gibbs! Grandpa Gibbs!" She sang as Ziva unbuckled her seatbelt.

Ziva laughed. "Yes Tali. Grandpa Gibbs, Aunt Abby, and Uncle McGee". She picked up Tali, and carried her to Gibbs' front door. Tony opened the door, and the three of them walked inside.

"We're here!" Tony shouted.

"Shalom!" Tali shouted, giggling.

Gibbs emerged from his basement, closely followed by Abby and McGee. "Just like a DiNozzo". Gibbs commented, smiling. "Not a shy bone in her body".

Tony grinned.

"And she loves movies too". Ziva added, patting at Tali's go-bag that was hoisted around her shoulder. "Tali has a few Disney movies she likes in here. If she gets fussy, just put some on". She advised. "They're in Hebrew, but I put the subtitles on in English so she can learn new words".

Abby smiled at Tali. "You must be a very smart girl, Tali". She said as she took Tali from Ziva. "Just like your mother".

"Have fun you guys". McGee said to the pair. "And don't worry about Tali. She'll have lots of fun with her family. Isn't that right, Tali?"

Tali squealed with laughter as Abby lightly blew on her face and tickled her stomach.

"What are you two doing?" Gibbs asked Tony and Ziva as he grabbed Tali's go-bag.

"We're going back to my apartment to talk about what happened". Tony replied. He put a comforting hand on Ziva's shoulder and squeezed. "And maybe search for a bigger place".

Gibbs smiled.
