chapter 30: love just doesn't exist

    So dumb Klarie so dumb.
   
    As I ran out of the school I jumped in my car and drove off from the school and went to a special place. One of good memories of. A place where me and my mother use to go BEFORE she left.
    That's the place I can escape to.

    As I arrived I quickly got out and sat down underneath the tree by the lake. Not many people know about this lake because it's down a far gravel road no one wants to take surrounded by a field, but I did. I knew.

    I said underneath the tree looking up at the sky through the he leaves that have fallen from the tree and tears still leaked down my cheeks.

   
    6 year old Klarie

    "Mommy, what are you doing ?" I said while giggling madly.
    "Danicng honey, join me!" She said as she extended her arms out to me.

    I reached to her hands as she pulled me up and we began twirling while throwing our heads back in laughter.

   

    Those were the good days where we had no care in the world, but she changed, she left, she cheated, she lied.
    That's not my mom I use to know anymore. It's just a memory fading away.

    I sat there thinking about all the good times I've had there and then started thinking of Marcus and I and the good times we've had.

    How could he cheat on me ?
    Say he loves me, then cheats.
    That's not love, but I guess love just doesn't exist.

    I sat under the tree for about 2 more hours before deciding to head home.

    Once I got home there was something on my door steps, it was a vase full of white roses with the red ends on them and a huge giant teddy bear. There was a note tied around the teddy bear.

    It said.

    Marcus-

    Klarie, I know you probably won't believe me or ever take me back but I want you to know the truth. I never meant to hurt you ever Klarie. I love you.
    That girl kissed me ! I tried pushing her away, and then you came and saw. I swear Klar I would've told you about it if you hadn't of seen it. I don't even know who that girl even is and I don't think she goes to our school. Please just talk to me tomorrow after school and we can talk about it. I swear I would never cheat on you.
   Please just talk to me tomorrow after school, come to our place.
   I love you.

    Should I hear him out ? What if he is telling the truth ? Or what if it's just some prank to get me there and then people pop out and are like ha you got pranked no one could ever love you.

    I just don't know, maybe I should sleep on it....

    I took the overly huge teddy bear inside and the vase of flowers and trudged up to my room sadly as I placed the teddy bear on my bed and the flowers on a desk, and jumped onto the teddy bear and immediately fell asleep.
