Okay so chapter 12 Sorry I took long. I think my computer got a virus or something so I'm on another computer typing it up. The keyboard is really weird so sorry about typos haha. I do have some shout outs.

There was glass shattered all over the living room. Norah and I were doing our best to try and pick up every single shard of glass. Ethan was making sure there wasn't any black magic on the piece of paper. I see him break his concentration and start to untie the knot.
"It's safe to open?" I ask. "Yes. I didn't sense any kind of black magic." Ethan says.
He gets the knot out and the paper is free. He opens it and we see his face turn anfry. We wait in silence until he is done reading.
"What does it say?" Nate asks.
"They are watching us from the woods. We have five days to give them what they want or they will attack."
"What do they want?" I ask.
"It doesn't matter. They are not getting it."
"They want me don't they?" I ask.
"Yes." He whispers.
That night I lay in bed wrapped in Ethan's arms. He taught me how to better control my powers today. We also put protection charms around the house. We saw about three vampires but Norah and Liam shot them before they were able to get closer to us. We enchanted the bullets to burst into fire once it hit the vampire's flesh.
I knew what I needed to do. I planted a kiss on Ethan's cheek and tried to get out of his grip. He held me pretty tight. After a while of trying I finally decided to take a break.
Three minutes later I felt him stir and in the process he loosened his grip on me. I was able to slide out of his arms. I put on my black and white converse and went to look for a pen and paper.
I decided to keep the note short.
I decided to give myself up. I don't want any of you to get hurt because of me. Don't come after me. I love you all. -Lara.
I started to walk towards the door then I remembered that Tara was on guard duty. Can't go out through there. I look over at the window and decide to go out through there. I unlock it and bring it up slowly. I remember what Ethan told me about vampires when they sleep. Their sences weeken, but they can feel danger. I try to mask my feelings by being calm. I finally manage to get the window open.
I go out feet first and land on the ground softly. I really can't believe I'm doing this. Usually I'm not this brave. The bush across from me starts shaking.
I freeze, still in front of the window. It could just be an animal. If it's not I better say something so they know it's me.
"My name is...Larisa?" I hear a deep chuckle come from behind the bush. Suddenly there is a man running towards me. I feel two arms pick me up by me elbows and I'm being dragged back through the window. I feel a piercing pain shoot up my calf. I look down and my eyes start to water. There is a large gash running from the middle of my calf to the side of my knee.
