When I was a growing teenager, a little ray of sunshine, a little innocent, and a big ball of mischief, I often found myself in difficult situations that were hard to crawl out of unless fighting my way out.

And because of that, I often found myself in the principal's office.

Of course, I always had a way to prove I'm innocent because apparently, I was. It was as though I was a magnet that attracts bullies, be it girl or boy, which confused me for I wasn't that rude of a person.

Until one day at school, a new competitor had arrived. If I were to describe her in one word, it would be 'strange'. First, she had staring problems, specifically towards the attractive students that walk around in groups. Second, she always mumbled words when her eyes landed on a student. And third, she often would stare off into the distance with this faraway look in her eyes, her lips slowly curling to a smile while saliva slithered down to her chin... most definitely fantasizing about something.

But that didn't mean I disliked her. I had no reason to, especially when I barely knew her. She was a year below me, barely involved in my life, so what caused her to be of significance to me?

It was a day like any other, where I was busy talking with a few of my classmates whom I ran into. They were nice enough to invite me to eat lunch with them, and I suppose we were getting along just fine on our way to the soccer field.

Someone then blocked our path, who seemed to be the specific girl, and just stood there, gawking. I was about to ask her what's up with the staring until she raised her arm and pointed right at me.

"The lovesick villainess," she stated, her words shooting an arrow straight into my heart.

𝑊𝑎𝑖𝑡 𝑎 𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑢𝑡𝑒!

𝑊ℎ𝑜 𝑎𝑟𝑒 𝑦𝑜𝑢?

"Excuse me?" I choked out.

But she ignored and instead, pointed at my classmates with a sparkle in her eyes. "And her henchmen," she added, confusing everyone to a point where it struck a chord to a few.

"Watch it," I hissed with a glare. "That's not how you treat people... especially your upperclassmen."

She shrugged with a smug grin. "That's exactly what a villainess would say, calling her minions her friends when she's actually manipulating and using them behind the scenes."

What is this girl saying? I never hold such ill intentions towards anyone. And why would I need minions, for heaven's sake!

"Léa... What is she talking about?" one of my classmates murmured in bafflement.

I scoffed, turning to my classmates with raised eyebrows. "You actually believe the words of a complete stranger?"

But they ignored that and shared glances instead.
