Seika hugged me as a goodbye, ready to travel to Monale with Lance. A smile crept up my lips as I let go of her.
"I'll text you non-stop," I said. "Don't forget to text back."
"Yes," she answered, a tear escaping. Her lower lip began to wobble as more tears gathered.
"Don't make that face," I hissed at her. "I swear to god, Seika."
"I'm no-not crying," she sniffled.
I couldn't hold it in any longer when I broke character. "WA-WAAAAAHH!!!" I bursted, gallons of tears now running down my cheeks.
Lance sweat-dropped as he stood nearby, chuckling to himself when Seika broke down as well. "It's okay, Léa-"
"I'w mith wou, my Seika!"
"We'll see each other again some day soon, Nanamiii!"
A few seconds later, we let go of each other, whaling when the thought kept on replaying over and over again about us being apart for who knows how long.
Lance smiled as he stood next to Seika, placing his hand on her shoulder in a reassuring way. "Don't worry, Léa," he said. "I'll take good care of her."
I nodded, wiping my face. "Yeah, you better, Lance." I then turned to Seika who gave me a wobbly grin. "And you better take care of him, Seika. He's like a brother to me."
Taking a deep breath, I grabbed the two of their hands and clenched it.
"Be happy together," I said before hugging both of them one last time. "And invite me to your wedding when it's set."
Seika hummed in amusement. "We both came to an agreement that we'd marry after I finish my 3rd-year. And Rolance took care of that part. So please don't worry," she said, letting me go. "Think about your own happiness and follow it."
After I smiled and nodded to her, I let go of Lance, who sighed. "Visit us whenever you have free time. Monale will welcome and treat you like the princess you deserve to be."
"Thanks, Lance. And don't hesitate to come over here," I said.
We exchanged a few more words before I waved goodbye to my best friend and my soul brother as they drove away towards the airport.
Sighing, I turned around, only to see Kaede smiling down at me. I returned the expression as he escorted me back into the villa.
"Where is she?" I asked him, knowing he knows what I mean.
"Waiting for you in the Study Room," he answered. "Would you like me to accompany you?"
I need an ally with me when I have to face the evil woman. "Yes, please. You'll know how to keep me calm. Especially from her."
He groaned. "I should have been there when she lifted that stick. What it left behind wasn't a pretty easy way to heal."
"Oh, come on! I've been through worse," I laughed, smacking his back in a playful manner. "And it's a small cut that needed one bandaid."
"I'm not talking about the cut. I'm talking about the splinter that somehow got stuck in your hip. The part where I had to hold you down while the nurse does the job was absolutely horrifying."
I sweat-dropped, remembering how I over react when it comes to such small things. But it does hurt!
"So what would you do if she raised a stick at me again?" I questioned, curious to hear his answer.
"I..." he started, pausing as a sudden thought reached his mind.
My eyebrows narrowed, wondering if he would actually be there for me. He's taking a long time to answer my question.
