Chapter 06 ~ Baby

Myles POV

I walk back over to Briar and grab her hand.

"I'm sorry I walked away like that. We will have to pull through it together. But Bri your parents will kill me." I say feeling butterflies in my stomach.

"Myles my parents won't care. They were young when they had me, they were both 15 when they had me." Briar replied calmly.

"But your parents seem so nice and loving. They love you and Abbey like mad." I reply.

"And I will love this one just as much. You might not but I will. My mom and dad were just like me when they were younger. They loved going out drinking and smoking until late. My nan didn't mind. She just sat on her backside drinking, atleast that's what mom said. Myles if you want nothing to do with this then I won't force you too, I respect your choices." Briar says 

"Bri, I was just shocked I didn't expect to become a father this early. It's huge, I want this baby I promise. But we haven't even known eachother long. I got you pregnant on the day I met you. Do you even trust me? I don't trust myself." I replied 

"Yea I guess," briar said

"Bri will you be my girlfriend, just so the baby knows that it's got a loving mommy and daddy," I ask

"Yea I suppose," she replies and she lights a cigarette.

"Erm no Briar, you can't smoke whilst carrying OUR baby," I say and she laughs stamping it on the floor

Briar and Myles parents don't mind. The next step didn't need Myles or Briar until season 2 which was being filmed 10 months later.

9 months later

Nobody's POV

"MOM," Briar screamed and her mom ran through the door. "ITS COMING, THE BABY, ITS HERE," 

"Oh lord, ABBEY GET ME SOME TOWELS," Her mom screamed and Abbey ran though the door with a handful of towels.

"Omg I'm about to be an aunty," Abbey laughed. 

A/N ~ Myles has gone back to Mexico for a holiday with his family

"ARRRGH," Briar screamed 

Briars POV

I can feel it it's here, It feels like a million knives have been stabbed straight into my stomach.

"ARRRRRRRRRRGH," I scream it is killing me. How do people with lots of children cope with all the pain. Mom phones an ambulance.

"My daughter is in labour and there is no way she can get to hospital," Mom said trying to stay calm on the phone to the. "Midwife is on its way, they will be as quick as possible. Calm down Briar, they're coming." Mom said and then we heard a knock on the door So Abbey answered it. It was the Midwife, she ran upstairs and straight into my room.

"Hello, I'm Carol your midwife can you just breath in through the your noes and out through the your mouth please." She told me and I did so

"Arrrgh," I screamed 

"What's her name?" Carol asked my mom.

"Briar, Briar Nolet," she replied

"Ok Briar can you get on your hangs and knees for me please." Carol asked 

"Ok would one of you be able to go in my car, and get me the green plastic birthing pool, it  looks like a paddling pool," Carol asked and handed my mom her car keys. Soon enough my mom ran back upstairs with the birthing pool.

"Briar can you try and get in it for me?" Carol asked and I tried crawling into it. It was difficult but I made it. "Can you get me a bucket of cold water and a bucket of warm water for me please, and some towels lots of towels?" Carol asked, mom and abbey rushed back in with buckets of water and handed carol the towels. Carol tipped the warm water into the pool with me and took my shorts and underpants off. "ARRRGH," I screamed and My mom and Abbey left the room to give me some space.

"Now Briar you have coped really well so far but now I need you to push as hard as you can and squeeze Mr Ted when the pain starts getting worse," she said and hanged me a teddy bear. I pushed and pushed as hard as I could. "Your doing great Briar keep pushing for me please as hard as you can." I pushed and pushed screaming. "I can see the head, now keep pushing." Carol said I've never felt this much pain before.

"Arrrrrrrrgh," I screamed 

"Congratulations on the birth of your absolutely gorgeous baby girl." Carol said and lying there in front of me was a beautiful baby girl. Carol cut the umbilical cord and handed her to me. I kissed her head and then carol took her off me so she could get rid of the after birth. God it was like giving birth all over again. Carol tipped the cold water over me and told me to stand up. She handed me a towl so I could dry off and told me to go for a nice warm shower whilst she did tests on my baby. I got out the shower and saw carol & mom getting rid of the liquid in the birthing pool. Gosh there was a lot. When it was empty carol put it in her car and told me that my mom had my baby and she would pop around tomorrow to see if we were alright, then she hugged me and left. I walked towards mom and took her out of moms arms.

"So what you going to call her?" Mom asked

"Me and Myles thought of Eliza but I don't think she looks like an Eliza." I say smiling at my gorgeous baby girl.

"She's the spitting image of you Briar." My mom said smiling

"Yea, what about Sydney?" I said

"Sydney, I love it!" Mom and Abbey said in sync

"Sydney Eliza Nolet," I said making my mom looking confused. "What?" I ask confused

"What about Myles does he even know about this yet? And why Nolet?" Mom asks.

"Well no but I kinda want to tell him in person with her and i suppose it could be Sydney Eliza Erlick," I say

"Oh well what ever surname you give it, it will always be a Nolet in heart." Mom said

"Briar, Myles comes back tonight. I bet you can't wait to to tell him!" Abbey says and looks down at Sydney "Aww isn't my little niece adorable," she laughed. 

"Briar look whose back," Mom said looking out the window to see Myles moms car pull up outside there house. I walked over to the window with Sydney and pointed at Myles as he got out the car.

"That's your daddy Syd," I say happily since he's back. Mom laughs and goes to get me some cookies.
