Chapter 24 ~ Opportunities

Morning

Briar POV

I woke up and checked my phone. Myles was asleep next to me. I went on my emails and opened one from my agent.

Dear Miss Nolet,

I am delighted to inform you that you have got the part in a Hollywood reality tv show 'the life of dancers'  which will also be making a movie. I auditioned one of your dace videos. You have been given the main role. Filming starts December 1st. You will be given permanent accommodation and plane tickets for you and your family. Your flight will be on November 19th. Please respond wether you will take this opportunity or not By tomorrow.

I feel Myles move next to me

Myles: Briar, Babe what are you looking at?

Me: Myles we need to talk, it's quite important 

Myles: Then talk

Me: Can we talk after breakfast please?

Myles: Sure

I get up and get dressed Myles does the same. I walk out the bedroom, down the stairs and into the kitchen where I'm greeted by 2 hyperactive children running round. 

Sydney: Mommy we want breakfast!

Me: Sit down and I'll bring you some cereal and crepes.

They get on the kitchen island stools and I give them the food. Then Myles walks in.

Me: Girls I'm just going to talk to daddy you 2 behave

I walk out the kitchen and into the passage way.

Myles (worried): Babe what do you need to talk about, what's so urgent? 

Me: I've been offered a job in Hollywood

Myles: Babe that's amazing

Me: But it means I have to move to Hollywood.

Myles: What about me and the girls?

Me: You would be coming with me. But we've just lost our child, just moved into this house, again, and just got married.

Myles: Babe it would be a fresh start for all of us

Me: so you think I should take it!

Myles: Yes, stop looking so worried!

Me: I'll email them now, I love you

Myles: I love you too

I email back saying yes I'll come. Within five minutes they respond saying they will have the tickets at the airport on November 19th waiting for us and they will get our furniture over by boat.

I check the date it's the Novemeber 17th we have 2 days to sort everyone out.

Me: Myles We leave in 2 days, the 19th. You need to talk to your mom about this! 

Myles: Relax Briar she'll be cool with it, let's start packing our stuff and then the girls and make it a big suprise moving!

We start packing our clothes then took the curtains in mine and Myles room down and packed them I wrapped all photos up in bubble wrap and packed them aswel. Then started on the girls things.
