Chapter 14 ~ Arguments

Briars POV

Myles is staying the night at my nans  so we are cuddled up in my bed.

"Myles, how did you manage to sort a proposal out so fast?" I ask

"Bri, I've had that ring for 6 years now, I've been  waiting for you to come back home. And I just asked to restaurant to do it." Myles replied

"Cute," I reply and snuggle closer to him and we fall asleep.

Morning

I get up and walk downstairs. Myles was sleeping, Sydney was already watching TV and Niamh was drawing a picture next to her. 

"What would you like for breakfast girls?" I ask them 

"Toast," Sydney replies and Niamh nods. I walk into the kitchen put the toast in the toaster and walk back through to see what Niamh was drawing. 

"Niamh what's this?" I ask her

"This is me and Sydney, that's you, that's daddy and that's Sydney's Daddy," she says pointing to everyone except she never drew rob (her dad) she just pointed to a cloud.

"Sydney said that's where Daddy is in heaven with the Angels," Niamh said 

Flash back 

We were on a boat ride in the freezing cold weather as a family and Rob stood up. It was only a small boat and was very uneasy.

R- Bri I'm stood up

B- Don't fall haha,

R-I won't man relax

Syd- sit down now please 

Rob went and stood on the bench at the back of the boat and lost balance. He fell into the freezing cold water and his body was found 3 days later.

Flash back finished

I went and got the girls toast and Myles came down the stairs. "Bri what do you want to do today?" Myles asked sweetly.

"It's a hot day so what about a bbq, Nan isn't going to be in till Thursday so we could invite some friends maybe Brittany and Trevor. What even happened with them?" I reply

"They got together had 5 kids and then split up," Myles replied

"You serious?" I ask

"Yeah, Lilah, Jamie, Laura, Holly and Leo." He replies. "Should invite them all over." 

"Yeah can you ring Britt now," I say. "And Trev if you want."

"Yeah sure," Myles replies and rings them both.

"They said they will be here at 12:30, you know what that gives us enough time to do," Myles said and winked and ran up the stairs, I ran after him and straight into my room. We made out, I took his shirt off, he took mine off then we lay down on the bed, he was on top of me he took his pyjama bottoms off and he took my pyjama shorts off he grabbed a condom out of his tuxedo pocket and put it on and then .... I was moaning and it was getting faster and faster. I was moaning louder forgetting the kids were downstairs. It went even faster and then he started sucking on the top of my boob and made a hickey then he kissed me still going really fast it made my stomach hurt a little. Suddenly I heard a scream and we both looked to the door to see Sydney standing there. We stopped and just stared at eachother. Oh no

"Mommy, daddy, there is a man at the door, he said he was called Trevor." Sydney said on the verge of tears and then she ran off down the stairs.

"Bri what are we going to do?" He checked the time "Shit it's 12:30,"

We quickly got dressed and ran down the stairs

"Alright Trev," Myles said

"Fine man, Is that Briar?" Trev replied

"Yeah man, she's back and were engaged," Myles replied 

"Already man, when did she get back? She is hot," Trev asked.

"Yesterday man but I knew the minute I saw her I want her back for good." Myles said with a huge smile on his face then pulled me into a hug. We let go and Brittany and the 5 kids were here.

"Hey Briar, Myles, Trevor ugh," Britt said smiling

"Hey Britt," we replied

"So this must be Sydney, wow your so grown up." She said as Sydney was stood right infront of her. "And whose the other one?"

"Niamh, Niamh Aurora-Belle Nolet." I replied smiling and out of the corner of my eye I saw Myles frown. "Well you can go out the back, Sydney go and Show, Britt and Trev and the bairns out the back please, I want a word with Daddy." And they went 

"Myles what's wrong, you looked so sad when I was talking about Niamh." I asked concerned 

"Nothing Briar," Myles said sulking

"Myles don't lie to me," I said seriously 

"Fine, I don't like the fact you have another child which isn't mine. I wanted all of your kids to be mine aswel but she's not. This isn't a proper family if I'm not related to one of them." He said and he started getting watery eyed

I just stared at him and said, " Myles what can I do, If your asking me to get rid of Niamh I'm not,"

"I want her to be mine." He cried

"You want to adopt her?" I ask

"Yeah but I want blood jabs aswel, so we can be blood related." Myles said

"Fine, but you have to treat her just aswel as you treat Sydney. She will be your daughter not step daughter." I say and he smiles

"Niamh Erlick?" He asks

"Niamh Erlick," I reply smiling and walk over to Niamh "Niamhy, meet your new daddy, Myles." 

She smiled at me and Myles gave her a cuddle. I picked her up and the 3 of us went upstairs and got Niamh dressed. We walked back downstairs and into the garden where Britt, Trev, Syd & the other kids were.

"Briar, Myles did you enjoy your early morning hmmm...'session'?" Trev laughed 

"How did you kn..." Myles asked being cut off by  Trevor

"Sydney told us." Trevor cut Myles off 

"Sydney Erlick in this house now!" I  shouted and Sydney went in the house.

I followed her

"Sydney why would you say that?" I asks furiously

"Because i didn't know what was happening," Sydney replied and started crying. I hugged her tight and looked out of the side window and saw Myles walking past. I let go of Sydney and told her to ask Trev to get the paddling pool out the shed. I walked to the front door to see if Myles was ok and I open the door I get a wif of cigarette smoke and I see Myles smoking a cigarette. When he sees me he hides it behind his back. I look at him in disbelief and I storm off down the street. I wouldn't want Sydney or Niamh to see him smoking, it sets a bad example. I want them to be different to how I was.

"Briar," I hear Myles shout. I stop and look at him with tears in my eyes he runs up to me and tries hugging me but I pull away.

"Myles I thought you stopped. To make this relationship and soon to be marriage work you have to stop for the girls sakes." I say 

"Briar I can't I'm so sorry. I will do anything to make this work between us. But I'm just addicted now, it makes me ill not having one." Myles cries

"If you can't do that for me then I guess we're done. I can't allow my children to see you doing this. Sydney freaks out when she sees people smoking and Niamh coughs like you wouldn't know." I cry and run back to the house.

Will Briar forgive Myles?
