George and Hayden made up well that night. Over the course of 4 months, he managed to figure it out. Hayden understood, despite how much it bothered her, that he hadn't lived this way for nearly 2 years. He was finally changing, and it wasn't even a promise he had made recently.
As Ada grew, so did Hayden. Her stomach was getting bigger and bigger yet again. She was due in a month and a half. George, again, once everything was through his head, did everything for her. She seemed to let him, figuring out that this pregnancy was different, a little rougher on her body than the first one.
Everything was right. Hayden was no longer broken about her baby brother. She thought of him as still with her, seeing her every night before she laid her head down on the feather pillow. He had set his hands on her, light as the feathers in her pillow, and whispered in her ear what would become something to save her life.
The only problem was that George was once again away, having left on December 22. This time, with Ringo, John, and Paul. For that, the girls came with their children to Friar Park, and they all were going to spend 3 weeks together.
By that day though, Hayden was due in a few days. Her contractions were terrifyingly painful, and Cynthia managed to get her to the hospital in the middle of the night. The other two didn't come, on account of there were 5 more kids who needed to be taken care of. Cynthia had called George, but there wasn't a possible way they could get back home in time.
George was crushed because of this. He was going to miss the birth of his second child. He agreed, with his wife, that they wanted to be surprised unlike with Ada. He begged the manager of the company they were with to let him go home, but he wouldn't budge. They wouldn't even let him go home for the birth of his own child.

Meanwhile, Hayden felt like she was dying in that hospital bed.
The doctors weren't sure what exactly was going on. They decided to do a C-section. The pain medicine she was on was wearing off and they kept giving her more doses of it, provided that her stomach was wide open and they were cutting open her uterus to take the baby out.
That's basically what a C-section is. The patient is put on a high dose of pain medicine and the doctors cut open the stomach and the uterus to take the baby out manually. The patient, not allowed to see for reasons of freaking out, was blocked from view by a big blue curtain that is draped over their chest. Once the baby is out, they stitch everything back together and it's done.
Basically, not literally.
Hayden's stomach was currently open, and the doses of medicine were increasing as they wouldn't fully work on her body. Tears rolled down her face in thick streams, but she didn't have the full energy to sob. She was exhausted, having been up for hours already with painful contractions.
"God, please help me," she prayed. Air seemed to get warmer around her hand, and it felt like somebody grabbing a hold of it. She looked up and saw Topher's face, adorned in nature's beauty, and his dark red hair longer and more beautiful.
"You can do this..." his soft voice whispered sweetly into her ear and she relaxed her whole body, the pain leaving. There wasn't a way she could immediately feel like she was in less pain by saying it was the sudden effect of the medicine. "I believe in you, Hayden Ray, and I love you."
"I love you too, Topher," she whispered, falling limp. He pressed his lips to her forehead and disappeared into mist.
She couldn't fall asleep, however, though completely numbed from her chest down. She was anxious to see her baby.
She waited 5 more anxious minutes, which added 5 more minutes to Cynthia's anxiety, who was waiting somewhat patiently to see what was going on.
Hayden heard a piercing cry and gasped, the oxygen mask pushing more air into her lungs.
"Mrs. Harrison, you have a son."

"Cyn, what's going on? Where is she?" George fretted through the phone.
"George, she's back in the room already. I haven't been able to see her yet since we got here."
George sighed deeply through the receiver. "Can you call me as soon as you hear anything?"
"Of course I will, George. You're the first one I'll call."
"Thank you Cyn. I'll talk to you later."
"Yeah, okay." Cynthia hung up the payphone in the hospital hallway, biting her lip in anxiousness. Nearly 15 minutes passed until the doors opened and someone was pushed out in a wheelchair.
Cynthia's instinct was to look over, like anyone else, and saw Hayden there, her red hair pulled back into a messy bun and her face was spread with happiness.
"Hayden!" Cynthia squealed, smiling after seeing the look on Hayden's face. Her happiness covered her exhaustion very well.
"Cynthia, meet Christopher James Harrison."
