George ended up becoming a famous musician, though he thought about Hayden every day of his life. He contributed heavily to music throughout the 70s and 80s, as well as Paul, John, and Ringo. He lived a relatively good life after breaking up with Tammy, the girl who George cheated on Hayden with countless times. He met Olivia and they married, and he had one son, Dhani.
Hayden lived a normal life after she married Micah. They had another daughter together 2 years after they got married, Bradley May. Both liked unisex names and that one stood out. Bradley was in 3rd grade when Adair graduated from high school and moved on with her life going to college in New York for music. The next year, Christopher graduated and went to school in Quincy, Illinois, which was about 5 hours from Chicago by train. At Quincy University, he studied teaching while Adair studied music for 2 years and did an extra 4 years for nursing in Chicago at Loyola University.
After 8 long years, Hayden was 50 and Micah was 51. Bradley graduated high school and went to college in Michigan for teaching and anatomy sciences. Soon it was the beginning of a new millennium, and November of 2001 was a big year for a lot of people.
It was now late October of 2001. Micah and Hayden had finished babysitting their twin grandsons, Alex and Eddie. Adair had given birth to them a year ago next week, and just went back to work last week. She had been happily married to Ian Spencer for 3 years, and they were trying for a child for 2 years. Christopher was engaged, and Bradley graduated from college 4 months ago.
While Micah was away for a business deal 3 nights later, Hayden laid in bed with the radio on.
"George, who did you write most of your love songs about? Surely, you wrote them about your wife," the reporter asked.
"Well," George said. Hayden stopped whatever she was doing this listen. "I started dedicating those songs to Olivia a few years after we married, not right away. I was married once before her, to a woman named Hayden Joshua. We were married for 3 years before I did something really bad, and she had every right to get away from me. I had two kids with her, a daughter and a son. When she was gone, I realized what I did. I tried my hardest to clean up my life and began writing more music. I was at her wedding to her second husband, and of course she wasn't thrilled. But I knew why, and that next year I married Olivia and now I have a son with her. But I loved Hayden more than anything, but she's moved on and I'm okay. I'm actually fantastic."
Hayden flinched at listening to the simplified story of their split.
"Don't mind me asking, George, but do you know where she is now?"
"She lives in Chicago now I'm pretty sure. I wish none of this happened, but she had every right. I can't be upset for her. I'm not glad that she's gone because of the fame I've gained. I'm glad she's gone so she could finally stop suffering around me, because I put her through hell when I didn't realize it. She deserved none of whatever bad things I ever put her through. But I'm not going to say anymore except Hayden Ray, if you are listening to this by some bizarre chance, I'm sorry for everything and I hope you forgive me now 8f not someday. I love you."
Hayden quickly reached over and turned off the radio. Tears were in her eyes and she covered her mouth, quietly crying.
She cuddled against a pillow that night, still crying. She missed him like nothing else, and finally planned to see him in London in a few weeks.
She didn't realize that he had been diagnosed with cancer for a year, and that visit would never come.

On November 28, 2001, Hayden got the mail from outside and looked through it, finding a letter from George. She gasped. She was to leave tomorrow, and George knew that. She set the rest of the mail down and opened it.
Hayden
I'm so sorry I haven't told you yet, but I've had cancer for about a year. I didn't tell you because I didn't think you'd care. I just want you to know, I'm sorry for everything, even though you've heard it all before. I love you, and I hope I see you again soon enough.
George, 11/27/01
Hayden's hand went to her heart and she put it away. She went back inside, forgetting the rest of the mail, and looked at Micah.
"I'm going to London tomorrow."
~
On November 29, 2001, Hayden packed up her bags to leave Chicago, when the phone rang. Thinking nothing of it, she picked it up.
"Hello?" She answered.
"Hayden, it's Paul," the voice rang.
"Oh hi, Paul, how are things?"
"George just passed away."
~
Micah held Hayden's hand in the hospital as she tried to recover from a heart attack. It was in the evening of November 29 and tears slowly made their way down Micah's face.
"Hayden, if you want to go..." He whispered. "Just go. It's okay."
Hayden was barely conscious, an oxygen mask covering her face.
She decided to let go for good.
Squeezing Micah's hand, she reached up shakily and took the oxygen mask off of her face. Her breathing became strained.
"I promise I love you, Micah. I always have and I always will."
Micah's lip quivered.
"Just kiss me one last time."
Complying, her husband leant down and kissed his wife before she slowly stopped responding. Her hand loosened on his and her head relaxed onto the pillow. The heart monitor was flat.
Micah began to sob, burying his face in her neck and letting all tears fall.
"Dad!" Adair, Christopher, and Bradley came in together, all holding hands. "How is she?"
Micah raised his head and their faces paled.
"She's gone."
She wasn't entirely gone yet, and mustered up strength for 2 last words.
