(A/N) Sorry for not updating in so long, I'm terrible, I know.. Anyway, I hope y'all enjoy this chapter. For those who didn't read the last chapter because they didn't like the themes, basically, Alex came to the door while Pippa was out and tried to sort things out, Pippa came back and saw him, jumped on his and then ran inside with Alanis before Alex could get in. Pippa left her bag so Alanis went to go and get it and ended up in an alley with a rapist. Then she tried to escape and he grabbed her but then someone interrupts them....
‘I wouldn’t be so sure of that if I were you.’
I know that I recognised the voice, but where from? Never mind, they could be my saviour…or another fat, greasy rapist. Who knows? My main focus was getting out of this mess and back to Pippa.
I could feel the adrenaline pumping through my veins and I waited anxiously for the right moment. My captor still had his eyes trained on me; apparently he hadn’t heard whoever was interrupting his fun.
‘Didn’t you hear me? Get away from her.’ The voice dropped to a deadly whisper which sent a shiver coursing through me.
‘I heard you, what are you going to do if I don’t?’ he chuckled and revealed his yellowing teeth, the stench of alcohol and cigarettes forcing its way into my nose.
‘This.’ The stranger advanced and put up his fists, preparing to defend himself. The drunk began to blindly swing his beefy hands in a futile attempt at getting rid of his attacker. Obviously stronger, the stranger swung his fist into the drunk’s jaw and in that single blow, knocked his opponent out cold.
Once he was down, the stranger made him way over to me.
‘You alright love?’
‘I guess, I’m just glad you came when you did…’
‘Ahh, no worries. Where are your clothes darlin’?’
‘Over there I think…’
He passed me my joggers and as I fumbled around trying to pull them on, he came behind me and assisted me, his hands heating up my skin wherever they touched it.
I shivered slightly and he instantly pulled his hands away.
‘I’m sorry I forgot, you probably don’t want another creep feeling you up.’
‘No it’s fine, I’m just cold, that’s all.’
‘Umm, do you want my jacket?’ He shrugged his Topman hoodie off and draped it around my shoulders.
‘Thank you.’
‘So where do you live? Do you want me to walk you home?’
‘No it’s fine; it’s only round the corner.’
‘Well then I’ll definitely walk you home.’
‘No really, it’s fine.’
‘Oh I insist…’
‘Alright then, I just need to get a bag on the way back, tell me if you see it.’
As we emerged from the shadows, I realised where I recognised him from…
