Mute By Choice

Seeing

    The girl set at the long table, her friend on the opposite side that looked upset.
"About the dream..." Murmured her friend. The went slowly that day and when the teen finished telling the dream, she looked at her straight in the eyes. "What do you see in him that I don't have?"
  The girl felt her heart tighten. She was trying to think of a good few words but only thing that came out was 'He's funny.' That moment she realized what her friend meant. She wanted the time go back, to take it all back...

   Rose's eyes opened and she gave out a yawn. The alarm that was set on her phone was going of crazily under her pillow. She touched her phone and pulled back at how hot it felt. That's weird. She thought and pulled it out, pressing the snooze button and turning her phone off completely. As much as the teen knew about the technology, she knew it would be better to let it cool off.

~"Chill! I don't understand what you want from me. Am I not good enough?!"~

  The teen lazily stood up, her head pounding and her stomach feeling sick like she just went on every roller coaster there exists on planet Earth. It wasn't a good feeling and she knew, but letting it get on her way would be just stupid. Right? She though to her self again.
  Her feet hurt to stand on and she looked into the big mirror in the room. It showed a teen who looked as horrible as ever. Crooked teeth, messy hair, lazy pose, pajama's that are in need of washing... I look horrible.

~"Are you sick?" Asked the father to the girl who has been laying in bed for too long to not miss school. She nodded.
"Stomach?"
Another nod.
"Just don't throw a party while I am gone. Mom will call the school." He walked away, closing the door and leaving the teen by herself.~

  When Rose was wearing a nice outfit, had brushed hair, and a backpack on, she had out. Of course she'll see her friend on the way there.

~"I feel like you wear the 'happy mask' too much."~
