The room was dark and quite. Soft murmurs where heard on the other side of her wall as her older brother was talking on the phone with his loved one. He was another one awake at this time of day.
Rose was laying in her bed, trying to fall asleep but she couldn't. The air in the room was chilly of the open window. The reason she didn't close it was because it has started raining yet again which will turn into snow and ice by next morning.
The teen felt tired, her back, legs, and hands hurt. Her head was heavy like there was suppose to be a headache but there was none. She could feel the bags under her eyes and she couldn't nor wanted to move.~"Stop complaining." Her mother said in a harsh tone. "You're young. You shouldn't have any back pains. You just want to copy your brother."
"..." There was no reply.
"What? He has a reason."
"No, he doesn't. His neck hurts because he always sits on his computer! I, on the other hand, have back pains. That's worse." She snapped at her mother. And the women gave her daughter a look that said 'spoiled brat'. The daughter left, not wanting to feel it anymore.~Rose sighed and moved to her right side. Everything hurt in her body but she had to move a tiny bit at least.
~"How many times you hear me say 'I'm fine.'" The teen looked at he straight in the eyes. It shocked her. She was looking straight at her and no one else.
"A lot..."
"Exactly." The teen walked away with tears in her eyes. She was trying to say something to her friend but nothing came out. It hurt.~She sighed and pulled a little on her long now messy hair.
Selfish
Foolish
Fat
Ignorant
Harsh
Heartless.
Heartless...
The warm liquid rushed out of her eyes, forming into a drop that rolled down towards the bed by gravity. She wanted someone to be there with her that wouldn't cause arguments. But, no one exists that way...
With few other thoughts and few minuets of crying quietly, the girl had grown tired to the point where she fall asleep. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day.
~"You don't seem to care at all."~
