Chapter 20: The Temple

(Hey mah peeps! We're on the 20th chapter! AHHHHH! I'm so happy! You guys are absolutely obsessed with this book, and I love you guys for giving so much support! I've been a crappy author, I know. I took a bit of a break because I had writer's bloke and blah, blah, blah. I'm getting the hang of things again so don't worry! I should stop my blabbing now.

Gray's PoV

As our group wonders the halls of the temple, we hear some guards run in our direction. "Do you think they found us?" I ask the others. "Quick, I think these something over here." Natsu runs off. "Natsu! Get back here this instant!" Erza whispers, but doesn't get the slayers attention. "Let's go before he screws something up." Gajeel grumbles and we run after the fire freak.

When we find him, he's looking at some sort of picture of a moon above a temple on the wall. "Natsu. What're yo-." Before Erza could finish, Natsu presses the circle and it goes in, taking him with it. Erza grabs Gajeel and I by the necks and jumps in after him, takin us Mavis knows where.

When we get through, we're all on the floor, me on top of fire brain. "Get off, heavy weight." Natsu pushes me off. "That doesn't even have anything to do with my magic, flame brains." I slam my head against his. "Sorry, ice princess, there isn't much to talk about." He pushes back. "That doesn't even make any sense." I punch at the same time he does, basically bro fisting. "Will you two be quiet!" Erza punches us and we immediately shut up.

While the two of us had been fighting, Gajeel and Erza had seen something in the centre of the room. "What is that?" Natsu asks. "It's the spear of the ice God." I gasp, walking up to it. "The what?" Fire freak asks. "It's the spear of the Ice God, Elsa (I'm sorry.) she received as a gift from the King of the Ice Dragons, Jack Frost (again, I'm very sorry.) He was believed that they were in love, but because the dragons and humans were at war, they couldn't be together. But I thought it was just a myth." I explain, looking at it from all angles. "Is there a legend or something to go with it?" Erza asks. "Apparently, it can kill anything. From measly Valcans, to demons, to gods."

Suddenly, I hear someone clear their throat before me. We all turn around. I stare in shock. "Hello Gray." My master's other student. A white haired, boy. The last time we saw each other. Was that night. The last one to see my master alive.

Lyon Vastia

"Hello Gray." He put a hand behind his back as the other held his helmet. "You're the one that kidnapped my sister?" I clench my fists. "I guess so. If that was the blonde bimbo we're using." He smirk. "You bast..." I trailed off as Erza held me back from attacking my old sparring buddy. "Who's that?" She asks. "He was another student of Ur's." I state blankly, trying to reframe my self from punching Lyon's lights out before I get information. "You're the one that kidnapped Luce?" Natsu punched him instead. "Yes." Lyon spat out blood with his head turned to the side. "I also sent my best to kill your little friends down at the village." He states. Juvia! I gasp inwardly. "I can see they're precious to you. That makes killing them even better." He chuckles. "You bastard! Where's my sister!" I command. "Gajeel and I'll go to the village, you two deal with things here." Erza whispers to Natsu and the two of them escape. "Guards! After them!" Lyon pronounces, sending them after my friends. "What do you want with Luce? Where is she?" Natsu asks, standing beside me. "She plays a very important role in my plan. And she has experience in the whole, captured and tortured, thing." Lyon places his helmet on a nearby table. "What are you talkin' about!" I shout at him, clenching my fist. "She didn't tell you? Well, that's interesting. She didn't even tell her own brother she had been taken by a dark guild, right after her parents died, and her older brother abandoned her. I'm guessing she didn't tell you about the power she possesses?" He smirks at my ignorance. "She's a dragon slayer, ice Mage and a celestial Mage. I know what power she has. I know she's strong." I tell him. "Did you know celestial mages have the power to time travel, or a ice Mage with celestial magic can break an ice shell?" He questions, that stupid smirk still on his face. "Wha..?" I gasp. "Who cares?!" Natsu finally speaks up. "Who cares if she's strong or weak. Who cares if she can break a demon out of a cage. The only thing that matters, is that she's our nakama." He announces. "Natsu." I say under my breath. "Well, Gray, it's seems you've found a friend." Lyon says. "Trust me, he's not my friend. He's my rival." Natsu smiles goofily. "I don't care for your social status. My only goal is to defeat Gray, unleash Deloria and kill him. Finally surpassing Ur." Lyon finally gets to his point. "What?! Are you mad?!" I shout. "That's exactly what the girl said. I guess you could be siblings. Shame, the girl's actually hot." And with that comment, our battle to the death began.
