"No! I'm not doing this anymore. I'm doing what's best for ME now!" Ari yelled into her iPhone. She had been fighting with her ex for almost half an hour. He had been trying to get her back but she wasn't going for it. "What do you mean 'give you another chance'?! I've given you plenty of chances. You traded them for sex! I'm tired of giving you chances! I'm tired of getting my hopes up just to be let down. I'm just tired. Good day." as she hung up the phone. Even though she despised him, it pained her to say that. He was her first love, the guy she gave her heart to. As she got off of her bed, Ari grabbed her purse and walked out of her room. "You ready for dorm life?" her mom asked as she came down the stairs. "She better be! We're already late" her dad called from the front door with her final bag. Ari looked at her wristwatch. "By... three minutes. Dad, you're freaking out over three minutes?" she asked. "Yes. It could've been spent on the road. Now, get in the car so we can go" he replied.
