The Encounter

Brian couldn't believe his mom signed him up to do this. The only reason why she did was because his Mr. Perfect big brother had done it. He was with his best friends Seth, Adam, & Riley so it wasn't too bad. He didn't really help anyone. They would ask 'where's this hall' & he'd just point in that direction. He heard someone say 'ooh, he's cute'. He turned to see a short white girl & a tall black girl. They were walking towards him but suddenly stopped. They whispered things to each other until the short girl said 'I'm just gonna ask this fellow' walking over to his friend Adam. The tall girl came over to him. "Hi... Brian" she greeted, looking at his name plate. "Could you show me where Blerk Hall is? I have a class there Monday morning" Here we go again Brian thought. "Its over there" he pointed to his left. "That doesn't help me. There are like 5 buildings over there" she said, mimicking him. "Well aren't you glad to know there are signs that tell you what building it is?" he replied. "What the hell is wrong with you? Dude, you're here to help new people to the school. Pointing in the direction of the place is not helping. If your brain was bigger than your dick, you'd know that!" she replied, fairly loud. With that, it was silent. All you could hear were the roaring laughter of two muscular guys, Seth and Riley. Brian grabbed Ari's arm & dragged her away from the crowd. "Who do you think you are? You better take your hands off of me before I break them off!" she yelled. Once they were far enough, Brian swung her in front of him & let her go. "Do you know who I am?" he asked her, fire in his eyes. "Someone who needs to be fired because they SUCK at their job" she replied. "I'm the most popular guy at this school. I can make your time here either very pleasant or very miserable. So I suggest you be a little nicer to me" he said. Ari looked at him dead in the eyes "Lets get this straight: I don't owe you a damn thing so don't act like you're doing me a favor. I don't care about your popularity, so don't even bring it up. More importantly, you don't make or break anything for me. You didn't help me get here, I did it on my own. I'm gracing you with MY presence, NOT the other way around. Now, I asked you to help me as its apart of your job. If you're not going to, move so I can find someone who will" she replied, still looking at him straight in the face. He crossed his arms "Fine, Ill help you. In fact, I'll walk you to every class you have for a week, IF you promise me one thing," he said. "What?" she asked. "Don't call me out like that anymore. I'm very endowed. Since you have graced me with your presence, maybe I'll grace you with my evidence" he replied, winking at her. "Oh please. Spare me the make believe & take me to Blerk" she said with a chuckle, walking away.
