"Hey Ari, can you wake up for a quick sec? Well, at least let me know you can hear me," Brittany said. Ari pulled on her earlobe before giving her a thumbs up. "Oh good. I just wanted to let you know I have an 8:00 class & it's 7:35 so I'm leaving in about 10 minutes. So if someone comes in after I leave, freak out, okay?" Brittany said, going to her mirror & curling her hair. Ari, only half sleep, rolled back over toward the wall, assuming Brittany knew she heard what she said.

Her alarm went off an hour after Brittany woke her up. She sighed in anger. She had a long day of classes. She had a 9:00, 10:30, 12:45, 2:00, & 3:30 class. She wouldn't see her room again until almost 5:00. She rolled out of bed & got ready. When she came back, she was dressed in a black, sleeveless shirt with a white, painted guitar, a black leather jacket, white, skinny ripped up jeans, & black combat boots. It was very punk rock but it was chic. She flat ironed her hair straight & put on a beanie, leaving out her bangs. She grabbed her keys, book bag & headed out.

When she came off the elevator, she saw Brian leaning against the wall, head towards the ground. "What are you doing?" she asked. He looked up & smiled at her. "Good morning. Looking good for me, I see?" he said as he opened the door for her. "Being a gentleman for me, I see?" she replied. He laughed. As they got to the classroom, Ari turned to Brian. "Thank you again for walking me to class. Are you sure you're ready to do this 5 times a day for 4 days?" Ari asked. "Only if I get to be with you when I do it" he smiled. She gave him a big hug & walked into the classroom. He wore the biggest smile he could create. He walked down the hall to his classroom as he thought That couldn't have been any better

"Whoo! Last class of the day!" Ari shouted, shaking Brian's arm vigorously. "Oh come on. It couldn't have been that bad" Brian chuckled. She thought back to her other 4 classes "You're right. Microbiology wasn't too bad. Its anthropology that I wanted to die in!" she said, remembering how bored she was. Brian snaked his arm around her neck "I'm sure once you get to know some people, it'll be better". "I hope so. I have marketing with Britt & Riley, I'm sure that will be fun" Brian looked up to the ceiling, reminiscing on the fun they had in History II with Seth & Adam last semester "yeah, Ri's always a laugh" Ari came to a sudden stop & Brian looked back at her. "What, what's wrong?" he asked, confused. "I'm a terrible friend. I've been going on & on about my day, I never once asked how you were doing" she replied. He couldn't help smile... Hard. "Why are you looking at me like you want to eat my head?" Ari asked, slowly backing up. "You just said we're friends" he replied, showing off his million dollar smile (or at least that's what his sister calls it). Ari was surprised herself, she needed to cover it up & quick "Nope. Sorry." she simply stated. Alright. Good start she thought to herself. "You did" he replied. "You misheard then. I said... Person. Yeah, person!" Ari said. "Friend & person don't even sound alike" Brian said as Ari started to walk away. "Its not my fault you hear all types of words that no one said" she replied. "Sure Ari, sure" he said, following her.
