Y/N's P.o.V.

A bead of sweat dropped down onto the ground from Percy's forehead barely after we started clashing.

I spun right, dodged left, jumped up, and tried to puncture Percy's stomach.

I was successful with everything except harming him.

"You fight like goose!" I yelled, moving all over on my toes.

"Geese can be frightening!" he retorted, spinning with the balance and grace of a ballerina. "But you're more like a piece of toast!"

"Hot and with a delicious texture!" I replied, somersaulting on the ground. "Everyone wants a bite!"

Percy snickered, but crashed his sword down on the ground, inches away from my face anyways.

We stood up quickly, catching our breaths for a split second before fighting once again.

But wait. What am I doing here, as a child of Hades?

I remembered Nico's gentle teachings of how to summon skeletons and all that other Hellish stuff. I bowed my head to the ground, forcing my hands on either sides as if in a prayer.

Percy let out a sound of confusion, and then laughter as five skeletons began attacking him at once. I swear I heard Nico yell "That's my sister!"

I hit my head with my fist, letting out the dizziness that followed. It's not time to lose yourself just yet.

I ran into Percy as he finished knocking down each of the skeletons. My metal spear and his sword were brought together. It was now just a matter of strength.

I'm strong. I'm so, so strong.

I pushed back against him, causing him to lose balance and fall on his butt.

"Gotcha," I snickered, bringing my spear down right next to Percy's face. He looked up at me with something in his sea green eyes. I thought he was going to say something important, but he sneered instead.

"Don't get too cocky," he said, pushing a kneeling Y/N off of his chest and onto the ground.

He towered over me, but I rolled away just before Riptide was brought to the coarse ground.

Was he trying to kill me?

"You wish," I replied, knocking him off his feet as a surprise.

I pushed all my weight onto Percy's strong body, keeping him down for as long as I could contain him.

"But I think I'm allowed one little comment," I said, pressing the tip of my spear against his Adam's apple.

"Which is...?" he asked, raising a sneaky eyebrow.

I leaned into close to his face, a strand of hair loose in my face.

"I win," I whispered, pressing my sweaty lips against his.
