"Reapers!" was the last thing you had heard before heavy footsteps appeared behind you. Without a second thought you began to run, sprinting away from the reapers as fast as your feet would carry you. You heard Jasper, Monty and some others running behind you, following yours and Clarke's lead as you sprinted back towards the drop ship. It should have been safe out there, the surroundings having been clear over the last few days, but apparently the reapers were just waiting for you to leave your safe place.
You only wanted to collect some berries and wood to increase your stockings, but that plan got disturbed by the angry and hungry reapers. "(Y/N)!" you heard a panicked scream from behind you. You turned your head in Monty's direction, only to see that he had fallen over some roots and that the reapers were quickly approaching. Whilst most of your friends ran past him, Jasper and you turned around and went to help him to his feet. "Come on! Come on! Monty!" You said as you reached for his arm to pull him upwards. He scrambled to his feet, hissing as his feet touched the ground.
"No, this is not the right time to fracture your ankle Monty!" Jasper told his best friend and even in this situation, Monty managed to send him an angry look. "Come." You said and hooked his arm over your shoulder, Jasper doing the same on his side. He slowly placed his foot down and hissed again, but managed to take a few steps. "It's not broken, come!" you said and started jogging next to him. It took him a few steps, but he slowly found his pace and was able to run behind Jasper and you again.
It all happened faster than you could process, the knife that plunged into your side appeared out of nowhere, and the shock and pain of it caused you to tumble to the ground. Loud cheering was heard somewhere behind you as you ripped it out of your stomach, dropping it to the floor and trying to get up again. "(Y/N)! What happened?" Clarke was at your side instantly and helped you to your feet whilst you pressed a hand over the stab wound.
"Get back to the drop ship!" Clarke ordered, slipping into her role as our leader and pointing in the general direction of your new home. "(Y/N), you need to get up. The reapers are coming closer!" Clarke told you in a serious voice, trying to ease the panic out of it. She looked at something behind you and without looking you knew the reapers were getting closer. "I can't! I can't feel my legs... there is... I think it was poisoned." You chocked out as you felt a heat running through your whole body. "Damn it! Come on, get up!" She said and grabbed your arms, pulling you to your feet like you had Monty just minutes ago.
"Clarke, the reapers!" Jasper said as he helped you. "Hold her." Clarke said and stood before you, pointing the gun she was carrying towards the reapers. "Put me... down." You said and Jasper nodded, helping you sit down before he stood next to Clarke.
You heard gunshots going off, but you were in too much pain to focus on anything else but the burning sensation in your gut. With a loud cry someone landed on top of you and started beating, bursting your lip and breaking your nose in the process. It was all too much and you gladly gave in to the darkness that surrounded you seconds later.

Images of fire and blood flooded your mind as you came too again, and you shot up alarmed, gasping for breath. "Hey, Shh it's fine, you're safe! I've got you." A familiar voice said behind you and you turned your head, seeing Bellamy looking at you with worried eyes. His legs were on either side of your body, and your head had been resting on his chest just seconds ago before you jumped up. A bloody cloth was in one of his hands whilst the other held a bottle of water.
"(Y/N), are you okay?" he asked as you stared dumbly at the things in his hands. "What happened?" you asked, ignoring his question and trying to stand up. "No, you stay here. You're injured...
Reapers attacked you and stabbed you. The knife was poisoned with some fire plant. Lincoln and Octavia heard the fight and saved you. Lincoln had an antidote that saved you, but you still lost a lot of blood." He explained whilst softly putting his hand on your shoulders and pulling you back in his chest. He went back to dabbing the cloth over your wounded temple. He offered you the bottle of water and you gladly took it, taking a long gulp of it.
"Are the others okay?" you asked after a few seconds of enjoying Bell's gentle touches on your forehead that somehow managed to take some of the pain away.
"They are. They're waiting outside."
You nodded your head before leaning back into Bell's chest, taking deep breaths to calm your still beating heart. "You scared the hell out of me. I thought I lost you as I saw Lincoln walking in with you in his arms, blood dripping down your side. Blood. Blood everywhere." He whispered, not taking his eyes off your bruised face. He moved the cloth to your nose, trying to remove some of the dried blood. You flinched back as soon as he touched you. "Sorry. I need to clean it." he said and you nodded, tensing up. You knew he was right. He needed to clean the wound to make sure nothing could get infected.
With his free hand he reached forwards and grabbed one of yours, squeezing it tight to distract you from the pain. He cleaned your nose as softly as he could before hastily moving on and wiping some blood off your lips. "That's not how I imagined your birthday to go." Bellamy chuckled as he was done cleaning you up and just sat with you, stroking your arms. Your whole body was aching; your side, where you could feel the crappy stitches someone made on you, the burn from where they'd injected some kind of antidote, and the constant buzzing from your broken and probably swollen nose.
"You know my birthday?" It surprised you that Bell knew your birthday, but even more that he remembered it at times like these. On the arc, neither of you talked to each other whenever your classes got put together; the first time he said something to you was as he visited his sister in jail, where he saw you in the cell right next to hers. You never talked about something as blatant as birthdays, though. If you are in jail, they didn't matter anymore. You couldn't celebrate them anyways.
"How couldn't I? Octavia told me."
Of course she did. Octavia and you had bonded over the months you'd spent in jail next to each other, and she knew more about you than any other person on the arc. "If you were feeling better, I would've taken you to that river we discovered when we landed. The one without a monster in it. We could have swum a bit, spend some time away from the group."  He said and you chuckled despite your pain.
"You don't have to Bell. You need to make sure the 100 don't get out of hand." You said and he shook his head. You believed so at least, as you could feel his chin brushing against your scalp every time he moved.
"I want too."
You closed your eyes again, feeling exhausted from the pursuit and the blood loss. You could feel Bellamy moving from behind you and you sighed contently. It was no secret that there was something between the two of you, only that no one knew what that something was. Not even the two of you.
You could only imagine the fear he'd had to be in as you were carried to his tent, all bloody and unconscious. You knew you wouldn't have stayed calm if it was Bellamy.
You felt his breath near your ear and you turned your head instinctively, his lips brushing against yours as soon as you were face to face with him.
"Happy Birthday."
He whispered before he pressed his lips against yours in a loving kiss.
