(Y/n)=Your name
"Hi, (Y/n)." Ferid wrapped his arms around the body of the girl, clinging her to him. "Hey Ferid, you've already come back." She whispered. "(Y/n)...don't you remember what day today is?" (Y/n) smiled. "So you aren't a insensibile monster." "No, happy anniversary, my dear." And he gave her a soft kiss on the neck. "Do you want to do something?" Asked she. "Nothing in particular, spend more time with you is more than enough." The girl freed herself from his hug giving a glad smile to the vampire. "Thank you Ferid." "No, (Y/n) thank you for being part of my life. And Ferid was really happy to have (Y/n) in his life, her sincere smile was only of the few things he loved. "But a romantic dinner is needed, (Y/n)." The girl looked at him surprised. "A dinner?" "Yes, prepare yourself." And he went away. (Y/n) looked at him going away amused.
"You've eaten." Commented (Y/n). "What's strange about it?" Asked Ferid lifting an eyebrown. "I thought that..." "(Y/n)." Ferid took her hand, interwining his fingers with hers. "I'm sorry for all I've done to you." (Y/n) grasped stronger the hand of Ferid. "Enough, Ferid. I don't want. That's only the past. Now we have to think about the present." The vampire watched her and he smiled. Yes, when they've met each other things hadn't gone very well: Ferid saw (Y/n) only as a simple source of food, without care to hurt or to not hurt her, he was interested only in her blood. For (Y/n), on the contrary, the vampire was his worst nightmare, cause of pain and despair, but then something had changed. He was the monster who had taken her away from her family, but something had made them closer, changing slowly the way they saw each other, understanding that, after this tumultuous beginning, something could have started and they've ended falling in love without they realized that.
(Y/n) had changed the vampire's life and she has done it for the better. Ferid didn't grow tired to show how much important she was for him. Maybe also for this reason he has stopped drinking her blood, but (Y/n) has asked him to do this, saying that if it was him to do it, it would be alright for her. After Ferid was surprised and he hasn't accepted her request immediately. He still remembered the words she used to convince him. "Ferid, I know you want it, so take it and stop it." "(Y/n) I've told you no. I've promised I would never hurt you again." (Y/n) sighed. "Why do you need to talk everytime about that?" And she went closer to him, taking his face in her hands. "I know you'll never hurt me, you couldn't...but I see you're suffering for this..." Ferid grasped the hands of the girl with his hands. "Don't worry." "It's also a way to underline that I'm yours Ferid, yours and of nobody else and only you have the right to have me. I want to be only yours." The vampire bent down, kissing her and that night they overstepped the simple bite.
In spite of everything (Y/n) had another fear that haunted her; she loved Ferid, but there was something she couldn't give him, something from which she couldn't separete : her humanity; the only thing she wasn't willing to give up.
It was during a surprise attack from the humans that the irreparable happened. Ferid separeted from her for a second, but it had been enough. A human, thinking that (Y/n) was an enemy, has stabbed her and too late the vampire understood what has happened. He killed the human, then he threw himself on the body of (Y/n), he understood that he hasn't got much time. He cut his wrist, ready to make her drink his blood, but the girl raised a hand, stopping his arm. "(Y/n) you have to..." The girl looked at him with tears in her eyes. "No, Ferid. I-I don't want." The vampire stood still, realizing the meaning of these words. Peraphs (Y/n) hasn't the situation clear. "There's no time! This wound is..." (Y/n) raised a hand on the vampire's face. "I'm sorry Ferid, but I can't. If I become a vampire, maybe they'll hate me and I-I c-can't..." She cried, while her breath became more and more uneven. Ferid watched her speachless, while he started feeling a growing pain from his lower belly. The only girl he has ever loved was in front of him dying and he couldn't do anything to save her. "I-I s-sorry..." The vampire lifted her body on his legs. He hold her tight feeling that her warmth was drifting from her skin. "Ferid may I have a last..." The vampire kissed her almost with despair, savouring every moment of that last kiss. "Thank you for everything you've given me. I love you..." "I love you too, Ferid." The last words (Y/n) pronounced before closing her eyes forever.
The first days were the most difficult, wake up in the morning and not find her next to him was something unbeareble. Sometime he asked himself if he had simply imagined all this and he hoped to see her again, but this could never happen. Because (Y/n) was dead. Only now he could really understand what die meant, what this meant for who stayed. A part of his future had been swept away and now he had the regret for everything he couldn't tell her and for everything they couldn't have made together. He watched the ring he had bought, he wanted to ask her to stay by his side forever and now he would have never known her answer. Who knows, maybe with time she would have accepted to become a vampire, maybe he could have convinced her. (Y/n) has left a vacuum that couldn't be filled in his life, because every person is unique and irreplaceable, moreover if is someone you really love.
"Hi (Y/n), how are you?" Ferid watched in silence that gravestone, knowing that he couldn't get an answer. "This is for you." And he placed a red rose there. The first month he went every day to her, then once a week and in the end once a month: it was an appointment he couldn't ever forget. "(Y/n) by now some years has passed and, do you know what was the most difficult thing? Manage to accept it. It hasn't been easy and maybe now I haven't done it completly, but what can I do about it?" He always stayed in that place for a while, sometimes he seemed to percive her presence and often he watched the stars and he smiled thinking that (Y/n) was up above and she watched him, maybe in a better place.
The vampire caressed the grave and he kissed his smooth surface, a solitary tear went down his cheek. "Till next time, (Y/n)."Hi everyone! How are you?
I'm really really sorry about the late update, but now I have lots of homework and I have to study too many things, but what's important is that I've finally managed to finish it and, even if it's a bit sad, I hope you'll like it. 😘
