1. What are the fastest way to finish a "writing", alone writing or with partners in writing? Give at least 100 words of comment. hearmjan

What is the fastest way, you ask?

I think it has nothing to do with the actual writing, but more with your preference. If you prefer to work with other people whom you can throw ideas with, then by all means, collaborations would be best for you. If you prefer to develop ideas on your own, then writing alone would be easier (I did not say "faster", because you know there are more things involved in the writing process than it coming from a single mind or a collaboration of many.)

Both ways have their pros and cons. When you work in a pair or a group, more or less the ideas you initially have will be filtered by a lot more opinion and would be better discussed before it ever sees printing or publishing. The problem with this is that some people in the group might have two completely opposite stands on the situation or issue you are discussing and might not reach a proper consensus on time. Time is also a big factor because you need to agree on everything before the publishing stage. When you work alone, you might be looking at an issue or situation one-sidedly and will run the risk of not getting the bigger picture. The positive side to this is that you also have all the freedom to write when you want, what you want, and how you want it.

Now if you want to ask how to make writing faster, create a goal and set a deadline. It doesn't hurt to throw a consequence or two if you don't beat that deadline so you'd be spurred on to reach it. Connect with people who are in the same train/situation, because knowing that someone is having the same experiences like you actually helps you overcome the difficulties you are facing (and sometimes it makes your competitive spirit burn too). You could throw ideas around to get you out of your writer's block, or ask their opinion on something that is bothering you, or just have someone to cheer you on. I finished writing Amari in two months because of a goal and a deadline so I know that it works for me.

Yes. Mga taal na taga-Rizal ang angkan ni Lola (sa mother's side) kaya nasanay na ako sa Tagalog. Lumaki ako na AM Radio ang kasabay sa almusal, radio drama sa tanghali at hapon, at Funny Komiks, Bata-Batuta, Street Fighter, at Culture Crash Comics ang binabasa tuwing weekend.
