The girl supposedly named Rowen leaped from her perch on the ceiling. Her spear shot threw the air and glazed my jacket causing a tear.

I reached down and grabbed the bronze dagger. Quickly, I took the spear out of the wall as quickly as I could.

I turned around to gaze upon an awful sight. Rowen had thrown a knife in Rain's shoulder. She had another knife up to Karli's throat.

"Woah. Uh. Rowen, is it? We don't mean harm." That sentence seems to be my last resort.

Rowen didn't say anything. She just stared at me. Her brown and blue eyes just blank.

I dared to glance toward Rain who seemed to be recovering from the knife wound. He held it in his hand and looked furious at Rowen.

I realized something awful at that moment. They were communicating. Rain seemed to be moving his eyes back and forth and Rowen was twitching her nose.

Rowen finally spoke,"Have the weak one Felix. Only if I take Rain."

Rain laughed after she spoke. Karli's face started to grow angry. I saw Karli using Rain and Rowen's language. She was moving her eyes downward at the box. There was a knife in it. Simple, but sharp.

Rowen looked out the window at something. Karli and I both noticed this. Karli kicked Rowen in the shin and dove to the ground. I threw the knife from the box straight at Rowen. It was two feet from her when a loud Woosh! Sounded. A small arrow shot through the air and struck the knife.

I took a step back. The knife was knocked off its path and landed next to Karli. She quickly grabbed it.

All our heads then looked straight out the window. There stood a girl with flame red hair and about my age. She held a crossbow in her right hand and and a wide devilish grin on her face.

Everyone must know each other around here because just then Karli exclaimed,"LIA OPAL. Why didn't you let the knife hit this girl?"
