My dreamless sleep ceased and I jerked up. I grabbed my sword that was laying next to me. Around me, everyone was waking up. No one was dead.

Yet.

The only person missing was Emily. The steak knife she was once holding stabbed in the ground directly next to Karli's head.

Rain hurriedly looked around for the source of the screaming. He pointed at a crumbling apartment building. There was a small fire in the window. Emily's hair blew out and she looked down at us.

"Help!" Emily yelled as the flames licked her body.

"Emily! No!" Karli cried to her sister.

With a loud cry of agony, Emily leaped out of the window. She shot through the air and landed on the hard cement surrounded by blood. She was dead instantly.

"No... She was alive," she turned to me, "WHY DIDN'T YOU STOP HER?"

I stuttered,"K-Karli. Look. There was nothing I could do. I'm sorry."

Lia walked over and hugged her friend tightly. Rowen was rolling her eyes and glancing back at Rain who had never moved from his spot. His eyes were fixated on movement from down the street.

Rowen groaned as she saw what was coming. "I hate My Little Pony."

There was a young blonde girl giggling and running at us. She looked about fourteen and had rosy cheeks. She wore a bright blue shirt that said Pegasister on it.

Rain giggled at the sight of the girl. However, Rowen mumbled two words. I didn't make them out, but I did see the spear shoot through the air and make contact with the girl's neck. She fell to the ground bleeding out. Finally, her twitching stopped.

Rain's giggling stopped. "What the hell was that for?"

Rowen moaned,"Oh give me a break. She would have died either-"

"Either what?" Rain questioned angrily.

Rowen didn't speak. She gazed gazed at the place where Emma's body used to be.

We never moved her body.
