Chapter 4

Katie's POV

Next day

Right now I am in a room with all the other girl contestants and we are waiting to find out who our mentor will be.
I stood next to Caitlyn as we waited. The door slowly opened and the room fell silent....he walked inside.

Simon cowell!

Simon is our mentor!

We all charged towards him and had a huge group hug. I can't believe Simon is going to be our mentor.

We now have two weeks of freedom to do whatever we like now.

I made my way back to the hotel. It was 4:30pm and sonny was picking me up for our date at 7pm so I decided to start getting ready. I looked through my suitcase and decided on wearing a tight black dress which stopped just above my mid thigh. I also decided on a pair of white adidas shoes as I'm not a high heel girl. I done my make up nice and simple: foundation, concealer, contour and highlight, glittery eyeshadow, mascara and lipgloss. Now for my hair. I was going to curl it.

I finished the last curl on my hair and the door knocked. I figured it was Caitlyn as sonny wouldn't be here for another 30 minutes. Even though Caitlyn and I have our moments against each other, we're still friends I guess.

"It's open!" I called as I turned off the curling iron. I heard the door open so I turned around expecting Caitlyn but instead...it was Christian. He furrowed his eyebrows at me.

"Where are you off to?" He asked walking inside. I looked down.

"Oh...umm, I have a date..." I said not taking my gaze off of the floor.

"A date?" He asked. I nodded.

"W-what about me? Us? I-I thought you liked me...?" He asked pissed off.

"I do Christian but...you've been all over Caitlyn lately and I-"

"CIATLYN IS JUST A FRIEND!" He yelled frustrated

"Not the way I've been seeing it." I spat.

"Who's the date with?" He asked.

"Sonny" I said.

"Sonny? That douche bag from yes lad?" He asked.

"Hey! I'll have you know he's amazing! He's been nicer to me than you have these past 3 days!" I shouted.

"I told you how I felt about you, katie! You told me you felt the same way! What's changed?!" He asked.

"I see the way she looks at you...she can probably treat you better than I ever can. You're better off without me Christian. Besides, I know I told you I feel the same...and don't get me wrong I still do, but, I feel this way with sonny as well. I can't help it." I said taking my phone off charge. He watched me, every movement I made. I stood in the middle of the room.

"You look beautiful" he whispered. I immediately blushed and kept my head down.

I heard him walk towards me. He pulled my face closer to his.

"Just tell me when to stop..." He whispered leaning in. His lips attached with mine and I felt those familiar sparks inside of me. He pulled away looking into my eyes.

"Tell me you didn't feel anything" I told him. He furrowed his eyebrows.

"What?" He asked.

"You like Caitlyn as well and you just don't know it." I told him.

"I never thought of it like that...I know i like you...I need to think about things now" he said all of a sudden leaving. I sighed knowing what will happen.
