Chapter 10

Katie's POV

Next morning

I woke up with an arm wrapped tightly around my waist. I turned over so I was facing a sleeping Roman. I smiled at the memory of yesterday...I'm his girlfriend. I got a little cold as I was wearing one of his long shirts again so had a little shiver. It must have woken him up because seconds later, his eyes fluttered open. He smiled at me.

"Morning" he said in his morning voice.

"Morning" I replied.

"Are you cold?" He asked. I slightly nodded. He took it as the advantage to attack me in to a bear hug. He tightly wrapped his arms around me as he smothered my face with kisses, kissing my lips last.

"I'm gonna get ready.." I laughed pushing him off me. I got out of bed and grabbed my clothes walking to the bathroom.

After putting my hair in a messy bun and getting changed I walked back out of the bathroom to see Roman still laying in bed but scrolling through his phone. He kept his eyes on his phone as I laid back down next to him. I laid my head on his chest and he locked his phone, turning his attention to me.

"What do you want for breakfast?" He asked.

"I don't mind" I answered.

"I have bacon?" He kind of asked.

"Bacon sounds good" I smiled. I sat up to allow him to get out of bed. He threw on a black t-shirt and kept his jogging bottoms on then went downstairs. Before I followed after him, I picked up one of his hoodies on his desk chair and threw it on.

We got to the kitchen and I sat at the table whilst he cooked the bacon.

After eating I began to wash up my plate but Roman decided to come along and try to do the same. He kept nudging my shoulder and we ended up beginning to play fight.
As we were play fighting the doorbell went...

"I'll be back" he told me walking to the front door.

Romans POV

I swung the door open and was shocked at who I saw at the door.

"Mum? Dad?" I asked.

"You alright ro?" Dad said kindly.

"Yea dad, come In guys...I didn't expect you to be coming round today" I said closing the door.

"We thought we'd surprise you" mum said. They started walking to the kitchen and that's when I remembered about Katie. I followed behind them and they awkwardly stood in front of Katie. I walked over to Katie and slid my arm around her waist as I spoke.

"Mum..dad..this is Katie...my girlfriend" I told them.

"Hi" she shyly waved.

"It's lovely to met you" my mum said trying to hide her shocked expression.

"How comes we never knew about this?" My dad asked.

"Because we got together yesterday.." I told them. They slightly nodded and walked to  the living room leaving Katie and I alone. She looked at me with the wtf was that? Expression.

"Sorry! I didn't know they were coming!" I defended.

"I-it's fine, I'm gonna go wait in your room whilst you catch up with them" she told me. Before I could talk, she went upstairs to my room. I sighed and walked into the living room.

"How old is she?" My mum asked.

"18, why?" I asked.

"Young girl, nice" my dad laughed earning a slap from my mum.

"I'm not sure about her..." Mum said.

"Look guys...you've not had a proper conversation with her. You just met her! Please don't judge her too quickly. We're keeping our relationship quiet as well" I explained.
