Chapter 15

Katie's POV

Next day

So today I find out if I'm through to the live shows or not and I'm petrified. They've put all us girls in separate places so we don't know who got through and who didn't. I sat on a garden bench in Simons garden waiting. Moments later a crew member came up to me, telling me Simon is ready for me.

I walked over to Simon and stood in the centre as he sat on the couch.

"How are you today?" He asked.

"Scared" I chuckled making him laugh.

"You done a great performance yesterday...the girls loved you and you even made scary spice cry. Here's my problem with you though Katie, I think that because so many people don't believe in you its knocked your confidence down a lot. It makes me think, will you be able to cope with the live shows? All the other girls are fantastic singers as well which made this decision ten times harder. So after a long evening of deciding, I've finally made my decision" he said.

My heart started beating even more. He doesn't want to put me through. I know it.

"It's not good news..." He started. My heart dropped.

"It's great news" he smiled. I burst into tears.

They were happy tears. He smiled.

"I'm taking you to the live shows" he finished. I cried harder.

"Are you serious?" I cried. He nodded. I tried wiping my tears but more came out. He stood up and hugged me.

"Katie, you're a fantastic singer. I believe in you" he told me. That made me cry even more.

"Thank you so much. You're not gonna regret this at all" I assured him.

"I know I won't" he smiled. I hugged and thanked him one last time before walking away to Dermott. I attacked Dermott into a hug.

"You're happy I hope?" He joked making me laugh.

"I'm over the moon!" I said finally managing to stop my tears.

"Live shows soon" he smiled.

"Yea" I sighed happily.

After saying goodbye to Dermott I walked away I turned a corner and saw Gifty and Emily only. They looked at me and smiled. I ran and tackled them into a hug.

We're the final 3 girls.

I heard a cough from behind me. I turned around and saw Roman standing with his hands in his pockets. I smiled and attacked him into a huge hug which he gladly returned.

"It's good news then?" He asked.

"YES!!" I screamed. The girls were laughing behind us. He quickly pecked my lips and turned to the girls. I stood next to him and he kept his arm around my waist.

"I've actually been sent here to tell you all about what's coming up next. So you all go home tomorrow. You'll start packing your suitcases to be living in the X factor house. You'll have 3 and a half weeks until the live shows start. You'll be moving in on Monday." He said. We all nodded.

"Oh, and I'll be popping into the house a lot any ways" he said looking at me mainly, making me nod.

"What days?" I asked.

"Tuesday's and Friday's definitely. Monday's and Thursday's I'm at capital but Wednesday's I don't know yet" he said rubbing my back.

"Cool" I said.

"Guys" Gifty whispered. We all furrowed our eyebrows.

"WE'RE IN THE LIVE SHOWS!!" She cheered. Emily and I started jumping up and down as Romans stood there laughing at us.
