Ever since the sudden revelation that Belle didn't remember anything about the episodes she was about to live through, the girl had been uneasy. There had been times when she thought to herself what she would change in the show if she ever had the chance to live it. It was pretty easy for her to come up with some things to change. Like any regular person would, she hoped that she would be able to prevent deaths or prevent horrible things from happening. That was going to prove to be very hard when she didn't remember a single thing about the Hungry Earth and Cold Blood episodes.
One thing she was sure of was that there were things that were going to happen that was not going to be good. She knew that there was something that she should prevent, she just didn't know what. It was strange. Before she had miraculously ended up on the Tardis, she could recall the episodes like the back of her hand. That was how it was with her when it came to any episode of Doctor Who. The show was Belle's main obsession. So why wasn't she able to remember the episodes now? She could remember any other episode just fine, but when it came to the Hungry Earth and Cold Blood episodes, nothing popped up in her mind.
While the girl wanted to sit and try to remember what would happen to them during this adventure, she knew that she didn't have time to do that. The Tardis had landed in what everyone else thought was Rio, but Belle knew was something else. It seemed like she was still able to recall that bit of information. As soon as they stepped out of the Tardis, it would be going right into the episode and Belle would have no idea what to do.
And so, Belle followed after everyone else as they left the Tardis. It was easy to tell that they were not in Rio like the Doctor had intended for them to end up. From what Belle understood by watching the show, it was definitely a regular occurrence to end up somewhere they didn't intend to end up. Without even checking his surroundings to see if they were in the right place, the Doctor continued on like they were in Rio, "Behold, Rio."
Taking on look at their surroundings, Amy immediately said, "Nuh-uh."
It seemed like Amy wasn't the only one to notice this. Rory also voiced his thoughts about the place they ended up, "Not really getting the sunshine carnival vibe."
"They're right," Belled pointed over to the two. She rubbed her arms to try and keep herself warm, "It's too cold to be Rio. I've never been and I know that." The sweater she wore did a little to keep the cold from bothering her, but it seemed like the sweater was more for show than actual convenience. It was like women's jeans with the fake pockets.
"No!" The Doctor exclaimed as he leaned in close to Rory's face. Not even a moment later, in true Doctor fashion, he had become distracted by something. "Oooh, feel that, though," Belle raised an eyebrow at him. She didn't feel anything. What was he feeling? "What's that?" The Doctor took a few steps forward and then started jumping up and down. "Ground feels strange," he turned back to see the other three looking confused. "Just me. Wait. That's weird."
