They all knew something she din't.

~

As I entered the dark room, the dim light flickered, I suddenly realized how every room I entered seem to have been a dark one, not once seeing the brighter side of things. Maybe this was how Harry preferred to surround himself in. In the dark, hidden.

I stood there immobolized as I entered, the door behind me closing shut by itself. The only thing in this room was a white L-shaped couch and a really pretty girl sitting on it with her leg crossed over the other as she glance up at me warily.

Who could this possibly be?

She was a really cute brunette with shoulder length hair, she was wearing a red skin tight, short dress and heels. Her face suddenly brightened up as she glanced up at me and a sudden face of recognition of who I was has hit her.

"Hi" I shyly spoke, breaking the awkward silence. Yes, I tend to do that. A lot.

"Hi, you must be Milly" She spoke, getting up from her seat "I'm Whitney" she introduced, running to me as her lips stretched out into a large smile.

"What are you doing in here all alone?" I asked curiously as I stared up at her brown eyes whilst she giggled at my forwardness.

"Oh sweetie, I had to stay in here to keep an eye on you."she spoke as she enveloped me in a tight hug, my eyes widening at her sudden approach but nonetheless a reciprocated and hugged her back with a smile now gracing on my lip.

She seemed quite lovely.

But then I frowned, now realizing what she said to me "I had to stay in here to keep an eye on you". It wasn't that I din't like her, It was just the thought of someone "keeping an eye on me". It wasn't something I was used to, since I was usually taking care of myself on my own. I din't need anybody's help then and I certainly din't need it now.

But nevertheless it was quite a kind gesture from Whitney. She seemed genuinely friendly if you asked me.

"I can watch over myself, I'm old enough why would you even bother to keep an eye on me?" I asked uncertainly, my brows now furrowed in confusion as my eyes suddenly narrowing on hers.

"Harry's instruction" she replied sharply.

I instantly closed my eyes and shook my head. Of course why am I not surprised.

"Oh" I sigh as I sat down on the L-shaped couch as she followed my lead and sat on the other end, watching my every move.

Oh god.

This was quite weird for me for someone to be treating me like a baby-watching every move I made.

"You're really pretty, I really like you're hair" Whitney cheekily commented, smiling at me as I glanced up at her. She was friendly but I had to make sure and get to know her a little bit more. Who knows, this could all just be an act.

"You're not so bad yourself" I spoke my eyes suddenly narrowing on my lap now smiling dumbfoundedly as I glanced back up at Whitney.

"So how'd you met Harry" I asked out of the blue now giving her all of my attention.

She glanced back at me her eyes narrowing on mine, sending me a friendly smile. "Im actually one of his "dolls", but I don't quite enjoy stripping so I asked Liam to talk to him on letting me of the hook from that gig." She chuckled as I grew curious. "It worked except now I have to do whatever Harry says." She spoke as she pursed her lips together.

"Like what?" I grew curious. "Do you.. like p-pleasure him or whatever?" I asked stuttering as I stared up at her, her eyes widening as she stared back at me with a shocking express on her face.

My heart pounding loudly in my chest as I grew impatient with her answer. So was she like Jenna? In it for the tease? Or was she just like me. Lost.

I din't know were this sudden urge of curiosity came from, but I knew I wanted to know...

"Wow. No of course not." she spoke, sounding offended. "I'm not one of those." She continued, her eyes widening at me as I froze.

Oh god, this was embarrassing.

"I've known Liam for years and I needed help with finding a job since I din't have a degree. So basically, Liam hooked me up in here as one of Harry's dolls." she spoke as I nodded understandingly. "But I don't do whatever they do I'm more like a helper on keeping an eye around this club for any troubles" she spoke as she smiled back at me as I smiled back at her.

Oh how stupid I felt.

"Oh, sorry I din't know" I apologized shyly as my cheeks flushed from embarrassment.

"It's fine, Milly" she smiled back, she seemed so friendly and there was this kind of connection I felt with her that made me really like her.

"So you know everything about this club meaning you know so much about Harry, right?" I asked eagerly, now sounding incredibly stupid as if I was investigating. I absolutely had no idea why the hell did I just asked that stupid question. Perhaps it was just my curiosity towards Harry that brought me to it.

"Yes I do know enough." She whispered under her breathe, with a glint of sympathy in her eyes.

"I don't understand him" I suddenly spoke now staring back at her with pure honesty in my eyes. I seriously din't.

She chuckled. "He isn't quite an easy person to understand his like a closed book" she spoke with sincerity. And boy she was right. He was indeed a closed book. I din't even know much about him. Harry hasn't even explained to me why am I really here. All I knew is that hewanted me, but even I doubted that.

Well at least I knew he said he did...

"I don't understand why would he w-want me" I whispered under my breath as I glanced down at my lap as I nervously fiddled with the hem of my dress now slowly glanced back up at Whitney.

"He hasn't kept the same girl for as long as you. I think his found something captivating about you that made him want you to stay." Whitney spoke, seeming unsure if she should have said something like that to me.

Theres nothing special about me. Perhaps I was just unlucky.

But what caught me of guard was the fact that I wasn't the only one Harry has kept around. Whitney told me herself that I wasn't his first to be held hostage. Meaning this hasn't happened for the first time.

"Im not the first person his kept around" I murmured as I grew confused, my eyebrows now furrowed.

Whitney seemed off guard as she grabbed my hand in her hand. "I'm sorry sweetie, I shouldn't have said that." She spoke as I glared up at her nervous composure.

"There's so many things you don't know about Harry, Milly and I need you to be careful. You need to know your limits around him." she spoke as she gulped nervously. My breath suddenly caught in my throat, the air around my lungs tightening as I realized how right she was yet it was very difficult for me to do so.

"He isn't capable of things and I'm telling you this because I can see it in your eyes that you care."she spoke now letting my hand go as she rested her hand on lap. " You're so close to the end line." she whispered now starring up at me under her lashes.

I grew silent, the atmosphere thickening around me at her revelation. I suddenly felt the oxygen around us thinning now making it harder for me to breath at the sudden tension.

She was right. But what was Harry not capable of? Was it caring for others? Was it Love? Or was it both?

A single tear now falling onto my cheek as I wiped it instantly with the back of my hand making sure it din't slide off any further. The silence enveloping us both as she held my hand back tightly in her hand, rubbing the back of my hand as she looked up at me sympathetically.

"You've fallen to deep." She whispered under her breathe as my eyes instantly narrowed on hers as I glanced back at her in the eyes. My breathing suddenly hitched in my throat and my lips now parted, the air in my lungs made in harder to breathe at what she just said. I was going to protest when all of a sudden.

A loud gun shot broke the silence.

What the bloody hell.

My eyes widening and the beat of my heart now loudly pounding in my chest. The sound left me shacking as Whitney instantly grabbed me in her arms as she rubbed my arm trying to coax me to relax in her hold. Fear was evident in my eyes.

"Not again" she murmured in my ear.

"W-what was that?" I whimpered, my eyes starring up at hers warily as we pulled away. She stood up in front of me as I stared at her confusedly.

"Must me the boys, this always happens when theres a miss happens out there" she spoke as my eyes grew wider.

Oh my god, it wasn't something unusual that a gun shot was fired in this club. How obliviouscould I get. It was obvious that Harry was in some type of gang. No wonder the boys have been under his power, no wonder people were so frightened by him. Now I get it. How could I have been so blind not to see this.

He honestly did held the power in his hand and now he held the power over me as well. What have I gotten myself into.

"B-but w-what? Im so confused. This is all too strange to me" I stuttered.

"Harry has some clients and whenever something that he isn't happy about happens he or either the boys starts to shoot on someone to make a point." Whitney revealed as she rolled her eyes.

"Is Harry some type of psychotic gang leader with anger issues or something?" I hissed back in disappointment.

"You have no idea." She whispered under her breath her eyes finding mine as she half heartedly gave me a smile. "His the leader of the gang. These things only happens when he doesn't get what he wants because trust me sweetheart Harry Styles always gets what he wants. He never loses." she spoke with pure honesty in her eyes.

No figure.

"It isn't safe for none of us here, then." I added looking at her in-disbelieve.

"The boys have weapons and use it when needed." she assured.

Oh my god.

All this time I've been associated with fucking gang members. All I knew was that Harry's father was the leader of a gang but I din't know Harry had one of his own as well.

I din't expected that. How could I have been so oblivious.

"Thats insane, they could get hurt. All of us could" I spoke worriedly evident in my tone.

"Don't worry Milly he's got everything under control. He's always a step a head sweetheart." she replied.

Oh my god.

I got up from my seat. "Let's get out of here and see what's really going on out there" I spoke as curiously got a head of me. I had to do something I cannot just sit in here knowing something was happening out. I needed answers no matter how insane this was.

It doesn't make any sense.

Well It did but in my case I couldn't handle the truth.

It was all to much for me to handle and register in my brain that something like this would ever happen especially to Harry, he wasn't like I remembered not one bit.

"You wont be able to handle the truth Milly" he said.

Flashbacks of Harrys voice in my head.

Was I capable of it. I din't know but I need to know. Theres so many unanswered questions about Harry that I needed to know and I need to play along in order to find out.

But the only problem was attachment. He could have me wrapped around his fingers with the way he spoke to me, the way he would touch me in many ways just to have me falling back desperately in his arms. I was vulnerable under his power and he knew damn well how to use it for his own benefits.

"Please Whitney, I need to know more" I cooed my eyes finding hers pleadingly as she stared up at me warily. "Fine but behave. It isn't safe with a pretty girl like you unleashed." She spoke solemnly as I nodded.

She opened the door as she leaded us the way walking towards a dark hallway. We were now entering a dark room filled with smoke as I grew familiar with the heavy smoke now filling the dark room.

"Harry is not going to be happy about this" she whispered a head of me.

As we entered the room, I noticed how it was more like a private room with tables where sat men's as strippers danced in front of them. I cringed at the disturbing sight but braced myself for the end.

At the end of the room was spotted the man everyone feared and I occasionally. Liar.

Harry Styles.

However he wasn't alone he had company. I assume they were his "Clients" just like he quoted.

Harry and the boys were sat around a table with there so called clients. Two bulky mans. I noticed that they were all suited, they always were.

The fear was evident in the two men's face as I watched Harry's face now grinning at the fear evident in there eyes. Harry was sat at the end of the table situated in the middle.

I cringe as I observed Jenna stripping in front of them all as everyone watched. They exchanged words with each other as Harry snapped his fingers as he held his blunt in his other hand and two of his guards got a hold of the two bulky man escorting them out.

It seems like they weren't on the right foot, as if they weren't getting along. Tough night?

"Typical" I heard Whitney scoffing beside me as I grew curious now glancing to my side only to see Whitney now crossing her arms over her chest uncomfortably.

I glanced back at Harry as I observed him, my eyes suddenly widening as Jenna grabbed his hand now traveling it around her body.

Ugh.

She really ticked me off, the way she thought that she was the best looking creature in here. I actually pitied her at one point.

She was so desperate. I tell you.

I stared down at Harry as he stared at her uninterested, the other boys were concentrated on a deep conversation as Whitney took a step closer making her presence known. I followed behind Whitney as she lead me towards they're table.

Oh god.

This is it.

"Boys" Whitney nodded as she sat right next to Liam. My cheeks involuntary flushing as I felt all eyes on us, well more on me. Including one specific emerald pair.

My eyes narrowing on his specifically, I hated when he stared at me like that. His eyebrows raised as he noticed my presence. The air becoming thicker around me, my heart loudly pounding in my chest as I suddenly felt nervous under his gaze.

"Milly why don't you come seat next to me" Niall bugged in as he smirked, my eyes suddenly narrowing on his as I stared down at him confusedly.

Oh I knew what he was playing at but that only made Harry angrier as he rested his clenched fist loudly on top of the table. The loud noise caught all of our attention.

I stared back at Harry now bitting my lower lip nervously, I hated staring at his mesmerizing eyes. He was now glaring at me as he mouthed "don't try anything".

That made me gulped loudly, I nodded as I sat down on the empty seat between Niall and Whitney.

I watched as Jenna stripped almost every piece of clothing off of her as everyone watched including the other mans around us.

She made me sick.

"Hold it in there, sweetheart" I heard Niall whispering behind me in my ear, my eyes now glancing down on my lap, starring at it as if it was the most interesting thing on earth whilst I waited till it was time to go.
