A/N: Just wanna let u know that we will have a few time jumps. It's actually necessary.
Camila's POV
Telling Lauren the truth was hard. Telling her that Sam isn't really my boyfriend is hard. Telling her that I'm not really cheating is hard. Admitting that I have been lying to her since the beggining is hard.
Everything is hard.
What made me tell her the truth? Well, I just want to show her off to the world. I want the people around us to know that we're together. That she's mine. That she'll forever be mine. And I can't do that if she thinks that I'm with Sam.
Sam knows about this. About this 'affair'. He wasn't against it, but he wasn't into it either. He told me that the right thing to do is tell Lauren the truth. Tell her everything. So I'm doing it right now.
My hands were trembling as I held the door knob. I know that once I opened the door, there's no turning back. I want her to hear it from me. I don't want her to hear it somewhere or from other people's mouth.
I took a deep breath before opening the door. The first thing I saw was her back leaning to the chair. Her hair was wet, she was in a tank top and a pair of boy shorts. She wasn't aware that I already arrived from work.
I slowly walked to her and stood behind her. She was looking at my works.
"Hi love," I said, wrapping my arms around her neck as I planted a kiss on the side if her neck causing goosebumps to erupt on her skin.
"Hmm," she moaned, "You're early," she said, turning around to face me.
"Yeah. The work was already done and I'm really glad that our boss liked our shots."
"That's great," she cupped my cheeks and pressed her lips to mine, somehow managing to calm my nerves, "I'm proud of you babe," she mumbled against my lips.
I gave her a smile before walking to our closet. My hands were shaking as I pulled a pair of sweats and an oversized tee. Once I was done changing, I heard Lauren spoke.
"Did you eat dinner?" She asks.
I turned around and looked at her. My hands were putting my hair in a bun.
"Yeah," I answered, grabbing my bag and putting it on my study table. I was pulling all the things form my bag when the room fell silent. The only sound that can be heard was the voice message that my boss send to me.
This is it.
I looked over my shoulder and saw Lauren already looking at me. I swallowed dryly as I felt my heart beat in a fast pace. Really really fast. I gave her a tight lip smile as I felt my lips tremble in nervousness.
"You look...pale," she said worriedly, "Are you sure you already ate?"
"I-i...I need to tell you something.." I said nervously, looking at my feet.
I heard her stood up and walked over to me. I took a deep breath before slowly letting it out. I felt her held my chin using her hand and slowly lifted it up, causing me to look into her emerald eyes that was full of worries.
"What's wrong, baby?" She asks concerned.
"I-i...I can't do this, Laur," I said, avoiding her eyes and taking a step back away from her.
"W-what do you mean you can't do this? Are you breaking up with me?"
My eyes met hers. A tear managed to escaped her eyes as she was looking at me sadly.
"No..that's not what I meant," I clarified.
"Then what? Tell me, camz," she encouraged.
"I-it's about Sam and I," I began, inhaling sharply, "We're not together..." I breathed out, closing my eyes as I waited for her response.
