"So how was the vacation?" Danielle asked as she began passing out food that her and Flimur had cooked. The little cooking demon was helping with the passing out of food. He smacked many werewolves with the spoon when they reached for an extra red velvet cookie.

It was so good to be back in Greenburg with everyone. There was a huge dinner including Kadan and Alana's family. Kadan's Mom was so soft and sweet while his Dad had a personality similar to Dalton's Dad. I'd love to say Danielle was sweet but she is not, she acts so much like an Alpha. 'Dalton did say she was a female Alpha the was suppose to rule her pack but gave it up to rule as a Luna next to her mate. Romantic is it not?'

Satan you are not romantic. 'You're just jealous!' Yes I envy Lilith so much. Note the sarcasm. "I set myself on fire." I said beaming at Danielle. Her face contorted into one of horror. Suddenly she was yanking me up and pushing my sleeves up. "Where are the burn marks. Did you go to the hospital. Dalton call the pack doctor!" Danielle yelled her eyes burning gold.

Great Danielle was going all motherly on me. They say to fear a pissed off Mama bear when it comes to her cubs. Don't piss of a mother wolf when it comes to her pups especially after she gave birth, you'll get a foot up your bum. "I set myself on fire with my own fire which won't burn me. Then blew up a wendigo." I said trying to calm down Danielle.

"There was a wendigo at Whispering-Waters?" Danielle asked in shock. All the Ashford boys gave me a no look. "Yeah." I answered ignoring them. "There goes that time share, we'll take the furniture sell the cabin and get a new cabin somewhere safer." Danielle said going back to the food.

"Did you have to tell her?" Dalton asked. I nodded. Dalton sighed but didn't say anything. Hey at least they'd get a better cabin. "I'd recommend a time share in Lee Massachusetts." I said as Danielle seated themselves. Ryne and Enyr grinned at me with that.

When we were younger my parents had a timeshare there and we'd go there all the time. I still have the thousands of tickets locked away in a box in my room somewhere. Danielle nodded. "You may now eat."

"Isabella would you like to see Isaac?" Danielle said as I grabbed my denim jacket. "Sure." I said deciding that I should go and see a baby for the first time. "Ok he's in the nursery. I believe he's still awake, but he's so quiet and well behaved. Hope he stays that way." Danielle said offering me a smile. Nodding I began walking off in the direction of where she said the nursery was.

"He has this cute birthmark on his stomach that I think you'll like."

I nodded before making my way to the nursery. Finally arriving at the door I opened it. Inside a crib was Isaac who was standing up. A bird was outside the window and he was looking at it. He turned towards me. I smiled before making my way to him.

Arriving at the crib I stared down at the surprisingly large baby. Isaac stared at me as he played with a small stuff animal. He looked at the bird then giggled as he pointed at it. "It's a blue jay." I said admiring the beautiful bird. The bird looked at us and then it happened.

It slammed it's head into the window snapping it's neck. Isaac pointed at it and giggled. What? I looked at Isaac who looked at me with these coal black eyes that had this sparkle of life and reached out and grabbed my hand. His hand was warm but not as warm as a usual werewolf hand. 'Isabella check the birthmark.'

I moved down the bars and Isaac smiled at me. Looking down at where the birthmark was my breath hitched in my throat. Where the birthmark was, was a black circle with a scythe in it. That was no birthmark. It was a vessel marking. Isaac was death's vessel.
