I sat silently next to Isabella on a blanket. We had arrived at the lake about five minutes ago. Isabella has yet to even go dip her feet in the water.

"If you want to swim, I promise I'll hold you up so you won't drown." I said looking at Isabella. She looked up at me her blue eyes holding nothing but mischief. "No thanks I like the view from here." Isabella said looking down at the river. All of my brothers were in it, laughing and splashing each other. But I'm sure she's laughing at something else.

In the three foot part of the lake was Enyr and Lucas. Lucas kept on trying to climb onto Enyr to get away from the water. The discomfort in Enyr's face was very prominent. Enyr however grabbed Lucas's hand and brought him to a more shallow part. My guess was that Ryne and Enyr learned to swim when they disappeared for all those years.

"Enyr sometimes seems irritated with Lucas but always remains calm and loving, I think that Lucas was seeking something out like that." Isabella said as she leaned sideways and grabbed her small backpack she brought with her. It was one of those small backpacks but this one was Harley Quinn. I got a peek into it.

Books, her journal, notebooks and a pistol! Ok. Isabella probably doesn't leave her house without a gun with her. Although she does know what is out there that most people don't, she knows more than some supernatural.

Isabella grabbed a book and brought it out. It was a thick leather one. Maybe a journal. "What's that?" I asked. "My parents journal, one of the few things I scavenged from that night." Isabella said as handed it to me. "It's a lot different then mine, my parents journal or almost like a binder." Isabella explained as I opened it.

In the journal was neatly written handwriting. "What did you bring this for?" I asked putting it down on her towel. "To see what monsters that could be lurking in rivers or forests." Isabella said offering a devilish smile.

"Again with we're going to die?" I asked intrigued. "Possibly unless you guys want to live in your werewolf forms for the time we're here." Isabella said crossing her arms with a mph. "I have a feeling that would work to your advantage since you are in love with big canines." I said smiling at her. Isabella rolled her eyes at that.

"Whatever, so have any of your other brothers found their girlfriends?" Isabella asked awkwardly. "Well Noah thinks he did, her name is Moon." I explained. Isabella nodded. Isabella watched everyone as they swam and splashed around. "See what 'cha are missing out on." I said motioning to them. "Splashing each other and getting wet, so much fun." Isabella said sarcasm lacing through her voice.

'Do you think she's afraid a mermaid like the one in killer mermaid will appear and eat her?' 'I don't know why don't you ask her.' Ash grumbled before fading back into my mind. "Do you believe in mermaids?" I asked. "Sadly yes, I actually had a job on protecting a prince and princess merfolk from a skinfolk." Isabella said. "They are very proud of themselves." Isabella commented..

"What is a skinfolk?" I asked tilting my head. Never have I heard of them before. "They are like the evil cousin of mermaids and the nice sister of sirens," Isabella started. "They have a tail like a mermaid but it looks like it's made of skin, they have no genitals on the top of them and they can only put men in a trance with their songs and then eat them or worse make them their lover and have them get them food and vice versa for their male parts." Isabella explained.

'Hope I never meet one, unless it's Isabella and I get to be the one ea-' I cut Ash off after that. I did not want to hear that. I nodded. "So do you think they live here?" I asked. "No they tend to live in a island surrounded by an ocean." Isabella explained as she picked her hair up and tossed it to her left shoulder.

"Would you kill it?" I asked. "Only if I had another hunter and a lot of ammo." Isabella said looking at me. "Why?" I asked. Isabella turned towards me. "What would you do if a rogue killed your pack or family member?" Isabella asked. "My entire pack and family would go after that rogue." I answered truthfully. "Kill one skinfolk and you get the whole pod full of their sisters or if it's a boy brothers after you." Isabella answered.

"So there is no boys in a pod full of girls?" I asked confused. "Only girls in a pod and only boys in the other, they'll eventually meet, mate, stick together caring for the mother until the baby is born then split." Isabella explained as a look of disgust crossed her face. "The skinfolk I fought wanted to mate with a merfolk to create a hybrid so the child could sing a mermaids song to lure more prey in." Isabella said.

I nodded. "Did you have to fight an entire pod of them?" I asked. Isabella looked at me nervously. "I made a war between that pod of merfolk and skinfolk that is probably still going on." Isabella said. "Seriously?" I asked shocked. "Yes apparently skinfolk and merfolk had a very loose truce and I broke it so you know, I'm sorta very alert for the past few years." Isabella said looking at me with a sheepish smile.

"Wow, do you think they are gonna find you?" I asked tilting my head. "Very unlikely, I don't leave much tracks behind." Isabella answered as she nervously tucked a piece of hair behind her ear. I sometimes forget their is a expert hunter beside me. "So how long is that guy gonna stay here?" I asked. "Victor? Probably until he decides we're good on our own and all this stuff settles down, Victor has been like a Father to us for a lot of our lives." Isabella answered

I nodded. Victor recently moved into an apartment complex not to far from where Isabella and Kadan. I found it funny that Kadan and Isabella lived right next door to each other. "So have you found a trainer for Aries?" I asked. "Yeah I boarded him at this new trainer who was highly recommended by some k9 officers." Isabella answered. I nodded smiling.

Suddenly there was a loud high pitched scream. We both looked at each other before heading off at a dead run to where everyone had gathered. Orchid's head was buried in Andrew's chest, tears streaming down her face. "What happened?" Isabella asked panting. Orchid pointed at near the shore. Isabella looked over there before covering her mouth.

There was a body all torn up with organs hanging out.

1164. My family's gaze is currently burning into me like souls. But back to subject. Yeah gore in this chapter at the end. I don't know where this chapter was going but the antagonist is making it's move. Remember the contest which is offcialy open. Right a chapter on how Isabella meets the antagonist and what it is. Here is the riddle that hints it. What is a demon that is not a demon. Hint it was on Teen wolf, Supernatural, Charmed. Until next time my charming marshmallows.
