Liza looked over at Riley who was driving the blue mustang. She smiled. "You ready?"

"I was born ready!" Riley called back. She revved the engine. Liza responded in kind.

"Excuse me." Dominic put a hand on the starting girl's shoulder and gently motivated her to move out of the way. He pointed at Riley. "Are you ready?"

"Yes sir!"

Dominic turned to look at at Liza. He smiled at her. "Are you ready?"

"Yes." She smiled at him. Dominic raised both hands and brought them down.

"Go!" He yelled and the Maverick sisters took off. He turned around as they passed him. The crowd surged after the girls cheering them on. Hobbs came and stood next to Dom.

"Is your Maverick just as defiant as my Maverick?" Hobbs asked.

"Depends." Dominic watched the girls race. They pretty much kept neck to neck.

"You know Liza is in a heap of trouble?" Hobbs asked Dom.

"Yes." Dominic didn't smile.

"The man chasing her came after Riley. He did that knowing she was military."

Dominic got the message. If Riley was running with Hobbs, she wasn't some run of the mill gal. She would be a tough one to take down.

"Do you know anything about him?" Dominic asked.

"His name is Peter Derkins. His work is all over the place. Bank robberies mostly, but he also works as a gun for hire. He's a very wanted man." Hobbs paused and looked at Dominic so he could gauge his reaction. "He used to work for Shaw."

"He's coming for Liza." Dominic clenched his jaw at the mention of Shaw.

"Which is why Riley and I are here. When he comes for her, we'll be here to get him."

"Liza's not planing on sticking around." Dominic said. "She's only staying till she pays back Charlie."

"How much does she owe this Charlie?"

"Thirty-two cars." Dominic said.

"Well that could take her a while." Hobbs shrugged. "He'll be here sooner rather than later."

The crowd burst into cheers. Dominic and Hobbs both looked up to see who had one, but they didn't see.

"Which one won?" Hobbs asked. Dominic didn't answer, because he didn't know. The crowd started chanting.

"Maverick! Maverick! Maverick!"

"That doesn't help." Hobbs frowned. He scanned the crowd for his partner. He didn't see her, but he did make eye contact with a man. Hobbs recognized him. Peter Derkins smiled and nodded to Hobbs then disappeared.

"Speak of the devil. Toretto." Hobbs said as he started moving towards where he had seen the man. He put a hand on his gun, ready to draw it. Dominic followed him. Hobbs made it the the spot, but there was still no sign of the guy.

"What?" Dominic asked.

"He was here. He was watching us." Hobbs once again scanned the crowd. "We need to find Liza."

The two men went separate directions. Hobbs was constantly searching the crowds for Liza, Riley, or Derkins. There was a lot of moving people and it took him a good lng minute to find anyone. He found Liza first.

"Liza." Hobbs stood next to her then looked around for any potential threats.

"What's going on?" Liza caught on to Hobbs' tense, battle ready attitude.

"Peter Derkins is here." Hobbs answered.

"Who?" Liza frowned.

"We need to get you to someplace with better cover." Hobbs said. Gunshots rang out and Hobbs instantly grabbed Liza and pushed her behind a nearby car. The crowd around them all ducked. Hobbs' gun seemed to fly into his hand. He turned in a quick circle and saw no threat, or evidence of where the gunshot had come from. People were screaming and running away, but no one was laying prone on the ground.

"C'mon." Hobbs helped Liza up and they moved away from the heavily populated area, back to where everyone's campers and tents were set up.

"What's going on?" Liza asked.

"The man that's after you. Peter Derkins. He's here." Hobbs explained. They met up with Dominic and Riley.

"Are you okay?" Riley asked both Hobbs and Liza.

"We're fine." Hobbs answered and turned to Dominic, "Do you have someplace that we can keep her?"

"What?" Liza asked. She didn't wanted to be "kept" anywhere the whole reason she had avoided going to the cops and her sister was so that she wouldn't be "kept" anywhere.

"She can stay in my camper." Dominic said. He started leading the group to where his camper was.

"Why don't we just take her someplace else? Like away from race wars?" Riley asked.

"This guy blew up a garage by rigging a car. There's no telling what cars he rigged. We have to check them." Hobbs said.

The came to area where the Toretto's had parked their campers. Brian and Mia were outside theirs. Mia was holding one of her children.

"What's going on Dom?" Brian asked. "We heard a gunshot."

"Take Mia and the kids and leave." Dom said, "Liza's stalker decided to show."

"Okay." Brian led his wife and kids to a car. They all piled in. The tires spit up dirt as Brian peeled out.

Liza was ushered into Dominic's small camper.

"Hey! I don't want to be shoved in here." Liza said.

"Liza your going to stay in here until we know this guy is gone." Dominic told her.

"Dom."

"No." Dominic said. Hobbs took Dominic's place outside the door.

"After I finish helping Riley check the area, I'm going to come back to talk to you. This guy is putting a lot of effort into ruining your life when I'm sure he's had more than ample opportunity to kill you." Hobbs shut the camper door.

Liza put both her hands through her hair and groaned. She turned around to look for soemthing to kick and came face to face with Peter Derkins. She froze and felt the barrel of the gun press into her gut.

" 'Ello Liza. It's been a while." He smiled, "I have some fun planned for us."
