layla's POV

"I'm telling you Jason- layla, hey!" Spencer said to me.

"Hi," I paused,"Why were you talking about Jason?"

"No reason," she stated. I eyed her suspiciously.

"Ok there is a reason," Emily then lowered her voice,"Two days ago Spencer and I went into Jason's shed-" I looked at like she was crazy. Which she very much is.

"And we found pictures of you and Aria," Spencer finished.

"Oh right that. You see, Jason found a roll of film in Ali's room and he developed it." They just looked at me as if I was the one that broke into his shed.

"He told me when we went in there together. And I found a flashlight on the floor," I said the last part eyeing Emily and Spencer.

"But where are the pictures now?" Aria spoke up.

"Jason gave them to me. They're in my room," I stated.

"Ok," Aria ended the conversation. Then Hanna walked up to us.

"Hi!" she chirped.

"Hey Han, why are you so cheery?" I questioned her.

"No reason," she stated with a smile. But I just eyed her skeptically.

Now we are in the woods, walking to the shed that always went to after school in eighth grade, to do something for Alison's memorial.

"Whose idea was this again?' I asked breaking the silence that had been lingering for a couple minutes.

"The memorial was my mom's and the shed was mine," Emily spoke up.

"Why in the woods? Especially at that shed," Aria questioned.

"Ugh there's little mosquitoes flying around me!" Hanna exclaimed making Spencer slowly close her slightly opened mouth.

"They're gnats Han," Aria corrected her.

"Whatever they're annoying and are flying up my nose," she retorted.

"That's because they're are attracted to your pefurme and hair product and lipgloss and-" I was rudely interrupted.

"I get it," Hanna said, clearly annoyed.

"Anyways. It's gonna seem like we have something to hide," Spencer stated, after stopping.

"If Ali's killer is still out there we should make them look at it everyday," Emily interrupted.

"Yeah. We could ask the town if we could build a bench in the park," I suggested.

"Hanna why aren't you saying anything, you're allowed to have an opinion on this," Aria stated.

"I'm just trying to keep the mosquitoes out of my mouth," I just eyed her skeptically.

"Gnats!" Aria and I corrected in unison.

"Whatever. And by the way I think that we shouldn't put Alison away until we know she's actually dead," Hanna stated.

"What are you saying. Do you think she's still alive?" Emily asked.

"Maybe," Hanna paused,"Just drop it okay." Then there was a rustle in the nearby woods.

"What was that?" Aria whispered.

"Probably just a rabbit," Spencer answered.

"Hello!" Hanna yelled silently.

"Han it's a rabbit. It's not gonna answer you," I said, sort of scared, since A is still out there. Then there was another rustle in the woods. But this one is louder, which means the person is closer. Suddenly our phones beeped in sync.
