Chapter 2: Dark Secrets

layla's POV

After dinner, Jason and I were walking towards the living room when he surprised me with a kiss. It wasn't like any other kiss we had. This one had my back slammed on the wall, arms around Jason's neck, and both legs wrapped around his waist. After a while we made our way to his room. Once we were up there, Jason placed me on the the bed to take my dress off. After I took off his clothes, I thought,'Wow, I never thought my first time would be with Jason let alone a 21 year old.' When we were done all I did was lay there while Jason was kissing my neck, still thinking about us.

Jason's POV

layla was being very quiet almost as if she was thinking.

So I said,"What are thinking about?"

"The fact that I just had sex with my dead best friend's older brother. Not implying that it wasn't amazing by the way." she said tiredly.

"Well I can't believe it either," I said with a grin. She did a small smirk.

"Oh I love you," she said happily.

"I love you too layla Montgomery." Once she fell asleep I quickly did after her. At about 8 in the morning, I got a text from a blocked number that said,"Make a deal with me or else something will happen to our poor little layla. Kisses-A." Whoever this A person was knew about us. So I would do anything for layla's sake.

layla's POV

When I got up I saw that Jason wasn't in bed. I quickly texted Aria what happened then went to the kitchen. Jason was eating when he spotted me.

He said,"I have to go to work for a little but I'll be back." Then he gave me a small kiss and went out the door. My first instinct was to follow him but then I'll be known as a paranoid girlfriend. So I decided to stay at his house and get ready. About 45 minutes after he left I got a text from A "Wanna know what your lover's really doing? Go to the park and find out. Kisses-A" I decided to go because I got a worried. Once I got there and got out of my car, I saw Jason and Aria together. At first I thought they were just talking about Ali or me but then I saw Jason hold her hands and Aria leaning in to kiss him and then he kissed her back. My feelings were all mixed up. I went from feeling super happy to feeling sad, angry, and betrayed. Then Aria turned my way, I assume she heard my heels stomping on the ground, to see me crying.

"How could you? I thought you loved me," I said to both of them with tears in my eyes.

I was walking towards them when Aria said,"It's not what it looks like. layla please forgive me!"

"No! You kissed my boyfriend. And you kissed my sister and looked like you really enjoyed it," I said while crossing the road back to my car.

"layla watch out!" screamed both Aria and Jason before I turned to see a car coming towards me.

Then all of a sudden everything turned black.
