layla's POV

The girls and I were at the Brew, sitting in our signature spot. They were talking about the fashion show, but I just looked off at the door.

"layla, you ok?" Aria asked, sounding genuinely worried.

"Yeah I just thought I saw Jasmine Ross," I replied and the other girls rolled their eyes at the sound of her name. They all looked over to where I was looking and saw her.

"Since when is she back in town?" Hanna whispered.

The only reason that Jasmine and Jason broke up was because Ali and her got into a fight. It would've been a burden if Jasmine still hung around after that. So he decided to end it right then and there.

Oh no. She glanced around the room and did a double-take when she saw us. After receiving her coffee, she walked over to us.

"Hello Aria, Emily, Spencer, Hanna, and layla," she spoke, but my name was said with a bucket of venom in her voice.

"Hello Jasmine," I replied, with the same amount of venom in my voice as her.

"So where's your leader?" she asked, looking intensely at me to a point where it got mildly uncomfortable.

"Oh, um. About a year ago she went missing," Hanna replied.

"I'm so sorry to hear that. I know you all were great friends," she stated, with a fake concerned voice.

"Yeah, yeah. Anyways why are you really here?" I asked, getting straight to the point.

"Can't a girl just visit her hometown?" She asked, with a very noticeably fake smile.

"Sure, why not," I replied, with the same amount of fake ness in my smile.

"Anyways I gotta go," she said, before walking off. I just rolled my eyes and the girls started talking.

•••••••••••••••••••••

It's now the next day and I'm leaning against a locker next to Spencer's. Aria was leaning on one next to me.

"I wanna go home," I whined, for the hundredth time.

"You can in seven hours," Spencer said, in her Hastings manner. Then Emily and Hanna walked up to us.

"Hey!" Hanna spoke, with joy in her voice.

"Hi," Spencer replied. Just then, Mona walked up to us. I hadn't really hung out with her as much as the other girls. But that's because I felt like she was using Hanna for something.

"One for my bestie," she said, handing a card to Hanna.

"And some for my bestie's other besties." She handed out cards to us. The cards were black and white, plus they had a yellow ribbon tied around it.

"What are these?" I questioned, being my very curious.

"They are invitations to the best birthday party ever. Mine!" Mona exclaimed with her peppy, yet very annoying, voice.

"We're going glamping. It's basically camping without all the outdoorsy things. Think fabulous meets spectacular!" Mona continued.

"Ok," Emily said, looking very weirdly at the brunette standing in front of her.

"Hope you all can come!" Mona said, looking at all of us, before walking off behind us.

"Naomi! Riley! Wait up!" Someone, who I presume was Mona, said.

"Glamping? Really?" I asked, opening the invitation.

"Well are we going?" Aria spoke up.

"Why should we?" Emily asked, sounding like she really didn't want to go.
