Ben's PoV

The next day I need to take a soak in the tub and apply cream to certain areas but I love knowing how I became deliciously sore. My man is a beast. And he's all mine. We finally are ready to leave at ten and the trip will take a few hours. It passes by quickly enough and we just chat and enjoy the scenery as we make our way to Dar's family home. Sophia, who is still recovering is staying there and Ramos is coming to meet us too.

The closer we get the more nervous I see Dar become and I slip my hand onto his thigh "are you ok hun, I promise I won't leave your side and the second you want to leave I will be right with you ok" he glances at me before focusing on the road again. He draws a deep breath and smiles "you'd think you were the older one here. I appreciate you so much love, you always know how to look out for me and you always have my back. I love you more than anything." He tells me as he takes my hand and kisses the back of it. I don't answer, I don't need to, he knows.

Once we arrive he parks and I see an impressive mansion in front of me. He takes yet another deep breath but before he even gets to think about leaving or just sitting there to catch his bearings the front door opens and a small rounded woman rushes to the car in a blur. "Mama" Dar breaths out and instantly opens the door. Tears pool in my eyes as I see mother and son reunited after so many years. He holds tight as she sways him back and forth whispering "my baby, my son" over and over. The rest of the family trickle out onto the steps and my heart nearly breaks at the utter look of despair in Mr Greys eyes. I leave the car and go to him, I don't speak, it's not my place to but knowing that he knows how much I love Dar and he loves me, I hope my being there eases his pain a touch.

After a few minutes Ramos' interjects "ma, come on, let's go inside" not letting go of Dar she leads the way. Dar looks so comfortable and happy in his mothers arms it brings fresh tears to my already wet eyes. They sit on the couch together but Dar looks up at me and signals me over "ma this is the love of my life Ben. This is my mother Isabella" she stands and soon I'm taken into the warmest embrace of my life. "You are the boy my family describe as "the light in Darius'" eyes. You are the one who makes him the "happiest they've ever seen him", yes?" I can only smile at her description and nod. "Yes, then you call me mama or ma too, you are my son too. Thank you for keeping my boy safe. When do I meet your brothers, I owe them my upmost gratitude for caring for my son when we could not".

At her words we hear a door close only to notice Mr Grey has left the room. Poor Mrs Grey tears up realising she might have added to his guilt but before she can follow him Dar does saying he will be back. Ramos comforts his mother and we are all tense waiting for the two men to return, it takes a while but they eventually do. I notice that whatever has occurred from their departure they both look more comfortable and happy in each other's presence and just like that everyone seems to feel the tension lift.

Mrs Grey, or ma as I've been beaten into calling her. When I say beaten I mean it, the second I started to call that sweet little lady anything other than ma I got a swift swat to the back of my head with the word ma uttered with it. So as I was saying, ma made us a delicious dinner and we caught up. Ramos made the whole table cheer with his announcement that he is now dating the lovely doctor Tegan. Just wait until Lor hears this, she's in for it, the teasing will be unreal. We decided to stay in the house rather than a hotel but we needed to get back the next day. I had classes and Dar had work. The time we spent there was wonderful and great fun and for the first time in my life I now have a female figure to look to as a mother. I have a feeling my brothers are in for a culture shock once this little lady gets her hands on them.

Packed with enough dinners to feed the troupe and enough kisses to feel the love, we finally leave. Once we arrive home I immediately see the cars and know they're all here. This time though, as I walk into our home, I don't sigh at the sight of Theo cooking while Rick distracts him with kisses, at the sight of Noel perched on Rob's lap reading while Rob and Lor shout at the football game or at the sight of beautiful Katie tapping away on her phone as all teenagers do, no, this time I just smile and say "nice welcome home eh love".
