Being an almost eighteen year old dad is hard. Responsibilities are piled sky high and the odds of me being a good dad like mine was to me is quite bleak. But the smile on my baby's face makes me think I'm doing alright.

Getting my gym bag out of my locker proved to be a hard feat considering how small the damned thing was. It was a pain to get it in there now a pain again to get it out.
"Get the fuck out here!" I muttered tugging extra hard and felt like cheering when it finally swung free.
"Ow!" somebody ran into me and I was about to give 'em a beat down but I paused when I saw it was Blaise. Tears streaming down his face while I held onto his arm.
"Hey um, what's wrong?" I asked taking in the way his lips, hell his entire body trembled.
"My mom." Blaise whispered between sobs.
"She's... she died." Blaise wrenched himself away from my grasp and was running again when he got the words out.
Damn.
I saw Theron ducking into the library and I thought I should let him know; he and Blaise seemed to be tight these days.
"Pst!" I called to Theron between aisles of books. I looked around and made sure nobody saw us.
Theron bit his lip and frowned at me and he too glanced around us.
"Blaise's mom died." I whispered and Theron nodded.
"Yea, he just told me and went to find Smitty Ray." Theron whispered back. We remained staring at each other, Theron nibbling on his lower lip and a slight frown on his face.
"Oh, well see ya later." I mumbled gracelessly.
Then on second thought I looked around again feeling shy and grabbed Theron by his arm and kissed him on his lips quickly. I would swear I did it at the speed of light and left Theron staring after me with a blush.
Dammit! He always makes me do foolish things when he bites his lip. Makes me remember the kinds of things he did to me with those sexy lips.
