Theron
Being an almost eighteen year old dad is hard. Responsibilities are piled sky high and the odds of me being a good dad like mine was to me is quite bleak. But the smile on my baby's face makes me think I'm doing alright.
But along came Bobby...

Bobby Ray
The next couple of days no matter how hard I try I couldn't find a moment alone with Theron. Well... not unless I went out of my way and that alone might look funny. Somebody would make a remark and then I'd get mad and said somebody would get a knuckle sandwich and then shit would start to stink like a poorly hidden body.
"Bobby Ray! " Blaise calls to me and I look at him
"Does Smitty Ray like whipped cream?" Blaise asks out of the blue. Just two minutes ago he was explaining to me about the feud between the Montagues and the Capulets.
"How is that relevant?" I snapped, Blaise stretched his hands up and rolled over on the love seat like a cat. I hope his face doesn't wipe off on it. I invited Blaise over, I feel more comfortable in my own territory. It's Saturday and we're trying to cover as much as possible for the quiz on Monday. Hopefully I'll at least hit a half mark.
"Oh it's not. I just want to know. I'm updating my list of things to know about him." Blaise props up on his elbows and smiles. He's actually a really cute boy. Slender, great hair style, nice smile, plump lips, beautiful eyes and whoever lands him would be one lucky guy.
"Why do you have a list of things to know about Smitty?" I closed my books and began picking them off my bed and tossing them onto my desk.
"I dunno. Smitty Ray is just...." And he sighed, dreamily, might I add, gave me the creeps.
I laid back and sunk down into my mattress feeling the tightness in my shoulders relax just a bit when Blaise crawled onto his hands down the loveseat and grabbed for his back pack. I just shook my head. Blaise is comfortable anywhere. I perked up a bit when he pulled out a pack of chocolate chip Indulgeums cookies. I haven't had a cookie in years.
"Want one?" the pack hit me square in the face. I didn't say anything. I couldn't. Boy, I feel like a douche.
"Why are you staring at it like that? Haven't you seen a cookie before?" Blaise asks as he crawls back up to the seat and turns over on his back then slid down more so his head kinda hung off the end.
"Haven't had a cookie in years. " I muttered, then silently cursed myself.
"Hey! Do you remember that stupid slang we made up back in standard one?" I could see Blaise's smile wasn't as bright. I know he heard me.
