Chapter 1: That Fateful Proposal

       Eren Jaeger is a newbie freshman attending Shingeki Academy. This is where he met his first love, Levi, at the opening ceremony to Shingeki Academy. Eren is a ditz and could not focus on any details during the ceremony once Levi was on stage. Levi’s first words are burned into his mind, “Welcome, I hope to be seeing you more along our journey…” Eren was memorized by his words, his speech, his lips…

       The following day Eren attended his first day at the Academy with Armin and Mikasa. Armin and Mikasa were having a conversation on their summer reading assignment and they both noticed Eren walking hastily with a letter in his hand. Eren was holding a love letter. Mikasa’s instincts went hay wire. “WHICH BITCH IS THAT FOR?!” yelled Mikasa Ackerman. “GO AWAY!” said Eren Jaeger as he ran for his f***** life.

       Eren reached the front gates of Shingeki Academy and saw Levi heading his way with an acquaintance. Levi was now right by Eren’s side. “Levi-Senpai! Will you please accept this!!” Eren said with a flushed face. Levi continued to walk pass him. “Uh, Levi-kun! Are you not going to accept this?” The blonde-haired acquaintance asked. “How annoying” Levi muttered under his breath. Eren’s heart shattered and his face turned pale with rejection. “Levi-kun! He may be a guy but that’s just plain rude! I apologize for Levi-kun’s rudeness young man. My name is Erwin, if you want I can accept your letter!” Erwin said flirtatiously, offering his hand to Eren. Eren’s soul was no longer attached to his physical body. The whole school has seen Eren Jaeger, a first year, get rejected by the Levi on his first day at Shingeki Academy. Mikasa had finally caught up to Eren and told everyone that if they dare tease him they will die. The students feared Mikasa and ran off. “EREN! Why did you propose to Levi-Senpai?!” Mikasa said with hysteria. “I don’t know… I just thought…he understood me.” Eren said with his soul retreating back to his physical body. “You’re crazy he’s a guy! But if you really admire him… don’t give up.” Mikasa said with encouragement. “THAT’S RIGHT! EVEN IF A TITAN CRUSHES MY HOUSE I WILL STILL KEEP ON STRIVING TOWARDS LEVI-SENPAI!!!” Eren exclaimed with strong passion. “Eren! Mikasa! We cannot risk being late for class!” Armin said finally arriving at the Academy gate.

       “Did you hear about the social hierarchy at Shingeki Academy?” Armin asked. “Hierarchy? At a school?” Eren said ignorantly. “The students are classed into 3 groups, Maria, Rose, and Sina. Maria students are us students from the low class Shiganshina District. Rose students are the middle class students from Karanese, Trost, and Klorva district. And then there are the Sina students. They are high class students from the Stohess, Hermiha, Yalkell, and the noblest Utopia district.” Armin explained. Eren wondered if Levi was even on his level. “I heard Levi-Senpai is a Sina student.” Said Mikasa. “Eh! He’s so COOL!” exclaimed Eren. “How can you still admire a person who has broken your heart?” Mikasa questioned Eren’s feelings. “I want to know more about him!” Eren proclaimed.

         After school Eren went to the school bulletin board to check his grade from his first test. His body was all over the board, but he was the only person there. Or so he thought.
