"Licht watch out!" Aliena screamed out in a plea of fear, the Bobby pin she was once dragging across the concrete came up towards her body again as she launched herself in front of the pianist, fire had been targeted at the boy but now instead was a painful hit towards the girl's body.

A low growl vibrated off her vocal cords, continuing to drag her Bobby pin across the ground despite the agonizing fiery pain she felt throughout her whole body, after a few more feet of dragging the small metal item a bow glowed on the concrete.

The tip of her pin came to drag across the art towards where the string was located before somehow in a spite of magic was able to manipulate the drawing to draw back the string, as she pulled back up the pin an arrow appeared and was sent flying towards the older man, the arrow causing him to fall across his back as the pianist made way to send a kick to the beaten down man.

Once the strong kick had struck him his body came to slide over into Aliena's feet, in a state of shock it took her a seconds to react and in those few seconds he managed to get a hold of her, his fingers tips sending several scratches along her ankle and as the fire grew her hand quickly came down trying to blow it away during that time the older man managed to get up and push her all the way to be stuck into a wall.

Her head thundered in pain from such a force, gradually removing her body from all the broken brick around her before staring upon the fight now consisting of only Licht and the fire creating man.

As she watched his violent attacks being sent out in several sets towards the boy she considered a friend in a way. Her gray-blue orbs looked away out of pain, not only pain for Licht but pain for Higan.

The thoughts of her old position as the betrayer raced through her head, who was she trying to kid? The position isn't old, it's her current position.

Her lead morphed back into its large bow and arrow form as she clutched on to it in desperation, "not only am I betraying them but by thinking like this I'm betraying my own Servamp, even my own brother. Who's side am I even on?" a pained out chuckle left her lips as her eyes reached up towards the sky trying to figure herself out but before any other fear could run through her body a wave of darkness began to consume at her.

She was flashed back at when this had happened to Mahiru, she was in the black wave with him but it felt nothing like this, she was choking like there was no air left in the world, she wanted to cry, she wanted to panic, she just wanted to die.

No struggle was even made as the darkness swallowed gradually swallowed her whole.

World End stood in the kitchen, black fumes emitting from his back and mouth as a small demon looking pig with button stitched eyes stood over top of him, everyone in the house understood what this meant but they couldn't comprehend his eve actually using her powers even if it was to protect someone she deeply cared for, this indicated something was truly wrong.

"Hugh-" Misono began to speak out before already noticing the small vampire making his way towards his younger brother, miniature cane in hand slapping against his hand with an emotionless look across his face.

The purple haired boy could only assume that the man of pride understood what his orders were going to be, "Lilly and I will head down there and get Aliena." no one responded as the lust pair escaped out of the door in a hurry not daring to waste a precious second knowing that if they weren't there fast enough an important life would be taken too soon.

I'm lacing my fingers with death now but something urges me not to,

death has been the only thing on my mind for four years now, ever since losing my last bit of hope.

So what's stopping me now?

"Don't die!" That voice, it shouts to me with such desperation, it so strongly needs me to not intertwine my life with him, the man of the hour to strike my life span.

I want to reach my hand out for that voice, know why they shout for me with such desperation for me not to die but death stands in front of me, the hand he extends out to me warm and inviting,

but nothing could beat the sound of that voice.

My being came back to the world of reality, my conference with death himself being cut short and the end confirmation was I could not yet die, the thing I longed for would not yet come to me, I hadn't decided not to die it was the voice that shouted to me that decided, and they wouldn't allow it.

The feeling of not being able to breathe surrounded my lungs once more, nothing would come of this but pain, so much pain until a thin pale hand came to block my vision of the horrid black color I now grew to despise.

What good am I for, a girl who can't even use her ability properly to destroy the ones who cause her current family and friends harm all because what? She was once called a betrayer?

"You can't always be that somebody, you have to let somebody else save you once and awhile to become stronger as a person-" my eyes trailed up the arm that belonged to the pale hand for my eyes to lock with Licht's stern blue eyes, ones that reminded me of my own that were filled with so much determination to save everyone but that determination in me was for nothing.

"You don't get it, I don't want to-"

He continued.

"So trust me, she-demon. Take my hand, let me be the one to save you for once." that's when I noticed he was barely even hanging on to a branch of a tree, his body being extended out the farthest it could possibly go just to save me even if I might reject him, this angel was willing to put his life on the line for a troubled she-demon.

Tears were starting to rise in my eyes, my vision becoming blurry and faded but despite that his hand was still obviously noticeable, it became even more clear once my hand slipped over top of his.

His hand was far bigger than mine, but his fingers were also far skinnier than my own, they looked to be so frail that they could break like carrots. Our skin tones almost identical, I somehow being far paler than the boy, but the appearance didn't matter what mattered was the feeling.

The feeling of my calloused hand sliding against his own silky skin sent a shock through me, his hand wrapped around my own the warmth of the grasp was inviting, far more than Death's cold bony hand.

My heart felt a shock of something I couldn't put a name on, my stomach felt as though it was trying to flutter off somewhere else as my whole body grew numb under that simple touch, all I could do was smile with tears streaming down my cheeks.

I'm not sure I like this feeling, the one of being saved but something about it was relaxing.
