Chapter 4

Vanessa's POV
The day of the Streamys have finally arrived! We were nominated for the Live category but win or lose, I was grateful and humbled nonetheless. I wore a long grey dress and did my hair. Roni wore a black dress with a deep cut at the back. We looked stunning. I just could not wait! We would meet so many of or friends there and party so hard. It would be a night to remember.
Our father drove us to the destination. It was massive. People in long dresses and black suits walked around, chatting and having tons of fun. There were so many faces that I never thought I would be meeting. We took pictures with some of the biggest internet stars. We were literally fangirling the entire time. Finally, we got ushered to our seats. The lights dimmed and the crowd became quiet. The Streamys was starting!
Collins' POV
The show had started and many awards were being given out. Finally, the live category popped up on the screen and I sat up straighter.
"And the Streamys goes to..." The host rolled her tongue,"THE MERRELL TWINS!"
Oh well, not me but I was happy that it was the Merrell twins. They truly deserved it.
Veronica's POV
"THE MERRELL TWINS!"
What? Everything was a blur. The people at our table smiled at us and congratulated us. I looked at Nessa and together we stood up. The crowd roared and some of our YouTube friends stood up to cheer. We made our way to the stage. I looked around. Everyone was beaming and clapping. Lilly Singh was standing up,
D-trix stood up and Cameron Dallas stood up. Hold on, CAMERON DALLAS!? I was hyper-ventilating. I turned away, willing myself to breathe. My heart was beating so fast as I walked up the stage. Nessa got up before me and she held the award. She started off by saying that it was an honour to get an award for being yourself. I stood there smiling, trying not to make eye contact with Cameron lest I faint. There were butterflies in my stomach and I calmed myself down. Nessa moved away from the microphone and I started my speech. I savoured every single moment of it. We then walked off the stage with a new award in our hands -Streamys Live.
